5. A big thank you to _ADZ_ for his seats, really helped me out there, and a good looking rado you have as well! ChrisL I have sent you a pm regarding the bolsters.
6. That is perfect for me, I need the metal base, and as far as I know the bolster foams are interchangeable! How soon do you want rid, I can pop over Sunday and pick up.
7. How much you looking for? Not fussed about condition solong as the base is good as going to transfer the leather etc...off the other seat!
8. Hi, I am looking for a drivers seat base, one of the supports on mine has snapped off in the side bolster and need a replacement :(! I am happy to take a seat and strip that down if that is easier for people. I am in York but happy to travel a little to fix this asap! Many Thanks Peter
9. Still here and still open to offers! Not many of these around, and all the bits are here.......apart from the plaque.......
10. Hi everyone, In need of an abs pump for a VR6. Annoyingly have one on a valver but obviously different pumps :(!! Any help would be greatly appreciated! Peter
11. Thanks for the replies, my codes do specify the inlet and outlet valves as the issue? Nothing about the 12v feed and I checked the cabling and looks very clean (which did surprise me). Anything on the relay/fuses to check?
12. So MOT this week and the ABS has decided not to work at all! I put the reader on it and it comes up with inlet/outlet failure on all 4 corners (I can check the codes later if needed). Is this pump failure symptoms? Or is it something easier then that? If it is pump failure does anyone know if you can use the valver pump, or has a VR6 ABS pump available! Thanks Peter
13. Just a quick thank you to all which are answering questions on this! Massive help! The cams in my engine which the previous owner was going to attach it to are Schimmel 263's if that is of any help. And as asked yes there is an ECU. Any more questions please ask, and myself or the brilliant community shall help!!
14. VW Motorsport VR6 Inlet Manifold A complete VGI Manifold with a loom, ecu, injector rail, throttle body and other bits I find along the way (many tubes and random boxes). This came with the car when I bought it, and I don't intend on using it on my car so would like it to find its way onto another engine to be used properly. Obviously this is not a pristine example as the price reflects and I am happy to look at offers! Also this manifold does not have the VW Motorsport Logo at the front. If you should so wish to view the bits they are in York, so message me and we can arrange something. Any questions please ask. 15. I have taken a photo of the underside of the VSR, not sure if you mean the ones on the throttle body, but I suspect not: What is the significance of the mark? Also you are correct there where a full set of recaros in ultra violet with it, at the moment I am using them in the car until I sort out the bolster on the black leather seats.
16. Haha, so far that theory seems correct, but I had a van in between the Corrados......so anything feels fast in comparison! The VGR wasn't the only extra either, but shall be doing some work on it over the next few months adding other parts which appeared with it... But MOT next month so that takes priority......and as usual the ABS doesn't work (someone disconnected the light which then flew at me out of the dash when accelerating)!
17. Thanks! Yes it was an excellent drive, have to agree the VR6 does enjoy the roads! My trip was not as long only about 300 miles but again, no Corrados :(
18. So after a year away from Corrados (had a 2.0 16v which is now in a sorry state on my drive......) I have bought another. This time I have gone from a valver to a VR6 Storm in Mystic Blue. I have been running the storm for a few months now and am definitely enjoying it! Not to say there are not any problems....but so far most have been easily resolved (including my friend losing my immobiliser fob, so having to remove the whole alarm system....). So a few pictures of when I took I took it to the lakes last week and a few of the extras I got with it will be for sale soon as they don't fit in with my plans for the car........one of these extras may be a VW Motorsport Maniold! Just to say this forum has helped me out a lot over the last few years of ownership, and just reading it convincing me to get another Corrado! So a lot of thanks to everyone involved!
19. Ordered one last week, quick delivery, excellent instructions and the light output increase is fantastic. Highly recommended especially with the new connectors as well!

Roof Rack

Hi, Wondering if anyone had a roof rack, so-long as it fits and would carry multiple bikes (don't need to carriers as have access to some). Late corrado (don't think it makes any difference). Needed relatively quickly! Don't particularly want to buy a new one! Based in York, happy to pay for postage if necessary! Cheers, Peter
21. Before I begin just want to say what a brilliant forum which has helped me out many times over the last 10 months of Corrado ownership! Now on with the work which is happening: Well I have had a Corrado for about 10 months now, thought I had better begin the work I have been planning since summer! Bought the 16v in January and have been running as a daily until a couple of months ago when I got a transit for my work, so the time was right for me to begin! Over the summer had some issues with brakes and suspension so have already done: KW V1 Coilovers +vr6 topmounts; 280mm brake upgrade front + Braided hoses; Replace rear calipers (old one's siezed); Complete interior swap to cream leather. And it already had: Stainless exhaust; KR cams and remap (last dyno was 150bhp); 50mm inlet. Otherwise it has been running ok, nothing special tho :(!!. So here begins the big work to hopefully bring some more power, and got it back to its former glory! Here is the car atm: So today was strip down of engine bay as far as possible as it stays light: So far only issue was a screw on the right headlight rounding off (mainly my fault for being stupid with a screwdriver). So the plan for the engine and car......well first of all strip down the engine and engine bay and tidy it up (is a little nasty); Sort the rust on the side and sill; Find some new wheels; Improve the performance by installing megasquirt, ITB's, and possibly new pistons and P&P head. Atm I only have the ITB's so thought a cheeky trial fit was in order: So all in all an alright day. Next aim is strip more of the engine bay out and begin work on the engine, but this is probebly going to be a slow job as haven't got all the bits yet, and quiet a long way to go!
22. Thanks for your response, seems like the budget option not looking too good. I was looking into making the management digital to remove the k-jet, and don't no whether the stuff off the abf would fit on the 9a with the inlet and throttle body off the abf? Since I use the car reasonably regularly I wouldn't want a too involved project, but something definatly needs doing, even if it is just a refres
23. I am having a debate on what to do with my engine and have three options, wondering if any had experience with them and what sort of results I can expect, I am aiming for 170bhp+ (I have a 2ltr 9a): 1. My mate has an abf head and all the injection system, so change the head to the abf head and go digital on the management. Keep any of the KR cams? (Mate doesn't have the bottom end as was cracked) 2. Find an abf and change to that. 3. Keep the 9a and mod to get the power. New cylinders and other things involved and replace bits which are worn. 4. Engine out and a 20v turbo put in. Obviously the cost of the first three are cheapest and the last is a big job! I would ideally want this to be a week/fortnight job so I don't give up on it either....... Personally the first option is looking promising if it is relatively easy and does make a difference, but doesn't seem like many people do it (guessing it is a little bit of a wierd thing to do). Any opinions/experiance would be great!! Thanks Peter
