I'll have a look on my phone for some photos - it will be priced very reasonably considering what it needs/ no MOT etc. I love the car but I just haven't had time to get it how I want it and use it as a daily so got a new car. Black leather interior. I can email you some photos if you want to PM me your email or phone number? Im in Ealing West London but the Corrado is at my parents house in Chessington (Near Kingston) Cheers Daniel

Hi, Not sure if its what you'd be looking for but my Corrado is sitting unused. It was a daily up until February - bodywork has a couple of rusty areas. No MOT, 147k Vr6, manual quite a few niggles that would need sorting but could be a drivable project. Let me know if this is of interest. Dont really want to sell but should get rid before insurance is due!

what kind of condition is the rear hatch / bootlid in? trying to chase rust around my moonlight blue Vr6
-
Yeah i used a kit and there was a slight colour change so at the moment i dont think its critical but there is some combustion gas in there.

I live in Chessington, just the other side of the bridge that goes over the A3! So very close! Cheers for the heads up i'll give them a call.

Thanks for the reply, if it were 5-600 i'd definitely repair. I dont tend to go to mechanics often, normally have a crack myself but Head gasket seems a bit more specialist and being a teacher i dont have a great deal of time. If anyone can recommend a reliable (and cheap) mechanic in the Kingston upon Thames/ Surrey area that would be great!

I've had my corrado for a couple of years now and i really love it. However, it is my daily and i suspect that there may be a headgasket leak. Theres no contamination in oil or coolant but the coolant is getting pressurised. My dilema is: do i fork out (I'm guessing circa £1200) to have it repaired or do i cut losses and sell the car cheap with the known potential issues? Got some nice bits waiting to go on it and feel it has potential but just dont know if its all worth it! What would you do?

would he be willing to split the ipod adaptor from the headunit? -
Thanks for the help, would like to avoid splicing into gearbox wire if possible. I'll try blue/white wire into block A pin 1 on ISO connector Thanks again

Hi, I've just bought a becker online pro head unit (really wanted a decent head unit to suit the interior of the car) i have been searching for a definitive answer about the gala/speed pulse wire. This appears to cause problems with the automatic spoiler (which, in my case is working and i dont want to stop working!) when connected to head units. The speed pulse cable is also required however, for navigation to function correctly. Will my spoiler stop working if i wire the speed pulse to the gala input on the ISO block? If so where else can i get a speed pulse signal from and how should i do it? e.g splice wires from gearbox sender? Thanks in advance
