  1. Yeah the later models should have metal regulator clips the early one's had plastic, had one go on me! now have a new reg which comes with metal clips! Also one thing to check is the maf this tends to be a common problem, new maf is about £65 for Bosch one.AFAIK the Pd150's had the sports suspension not sure about the 130. Best bet is get some Eibach springs with Billes B4's shockers these work very well and retain comfort. Door's can suffer from dropping on 3 dr model has the doors are quite heavy! Apart from that great cars get a remap too mate can't go wrong!

  2. Yup my TD has over 160lb ft torque at just 2200rpm....

Had a mate of mine at fuelling specialist 'mess with it' for me.... we estimate about 110-115bhp / 165lbft torque and that would enough till kill most 1.8 / 2.0 cars once moving in 2nd gear.... my Pug kills 130bhp Golf TDi's with ease...

Although the clutch lasted two weeks after the playing  - new clutch now

Want to have a go at mine mate? it's only a 110 bhp cough cough!

  3. Yeah i've heard good things about simon at Central, uprated injectors is defo the way to go then a remap i know of someone who fitted 216 injectors on a 110 and gave him about 150bhp on standard map! Driving it will be a blast mate all that torque is great! :) Let me know how it go's

  4. I think they went out of fashion for a while, but their quality of manufacture and the fact that they suit the car better than most is beginning to get through......

My thoughts aswell! that's why i never replaced mine when i had my rado look spot on when lowered too. :)

  5. Yeah got my copy through the post this morning! Darren your right about the ugly mugs  nice one guys some great rados there with pretty good times with it being wet too! Same they did'nt get any times for Rob Kisby mk2 golf supercharger and turbo that cars mad. :)

  6. I had a stage 4 charger from jabbasport and it was fine, but that was a few years ago, if i was looking for a rebuild now i'd defo go to G-werks http://www.g-werks.com Darren is a top bloke and know's his stuff! Jabba are more interested in 20v turbos and the like these days. :D
