:) welcome, there's loads of info about power gains for G60's best to do a search, but first of get a smaller pulley and chip it make's alot of difference. 14.5 psi is good boost for the mods you have. For some real good advice get in contact with g-man at g-werks those boys will sort it out :wink:

Is it worth trying to heat it up :?: it is very cold... glad im not the only one :roll:

Just went out to check oil level etc, pulled handle for release only one side poped up tryed it a few times same thing. The other side won't release it's solid :( how can i get bonnet open with out doing any damage any ideas :?: thanks.

yep your right but like you say how can you tell if it's leaking boost, at least with a giro valve you know it won't.

The one way valve is what it says it only lets air in one way and stops air going back out, i think the main reason to fit them is to stop any boost leaks from the ISV there's no performance gain just maybe peace of mind :wink:

Don't worry jabba will know what your on about, but you don't need it you can just fit the k&n straight onto the ISV so that's £45 less, i had mine before boost return was removed :)

yeah G60 russ Darren is a top bloke, alot of people seem to be going for this mod now i think Darren is going to be busy :!:

That's ok happens to us all at some point and it is monday :roll: as for valve got mine from jabba cost me £45 but other place's sell them too.

Dan that was GazzaG60 who started this thread as you can see im only using one filter i'd like to know myself about the second one :? the chrome thing is a check valve or a one way valve wot ever you want to call it :)

Dan i've had this mod done and there are some pic's in my members gallery, i did notice a performance increase probaly cause charger is running colder :)

Yeah partly agree with Bojmobile, i reckon your best bet is to try both like Bojmobile says, but try and drive a G60 which as been uprated ie chip, pulley etc in standard form the vr is better, but a breathed on G60 is just as good in my opinion. Also rebuilds for charger should be about 40k to be on the safe side. good luck trying to decide :)
