Becker Traffic Pro is what you want then, or a Monza if you can live without bluetooth. My comps were a diddle to fit straight in, with the hardest thing being all the time it took to fit the dynamat. 5.25inch fit the doors, don't get coaxials or the sound will be around your knees!!!

Sweet. How do you get that much power out of the VTS?

BMC installed, I'm using a rubbish rubber hose and the bracket is tiny. I got a silicone one and a new strap bracket on order will change them when they arrive. Loving the noise with my standard exhaust. Around town and idling its 100% as before, but on full throttle it sounds sensational. :-)

I'm chuffed with the sound from my standard fit system, I've got 5.25 components in the doors, crossovers tucked in the space under the later window switches and I've installed the tweeters in the A pillar trim pieces. Got rid of the dash speakers it's all wrong in terms of placement in my opinion, though I know lots get good results from them. Tried the tweeters in there but it wasnt right. Then i can't stress enough the need to deaden the doors and any/everywhererr you can! I put dynamat literally anywhere that had bare panels or trim bits touching and the improvements were insane going from left to right onthe HUs balance when halfway through. Car is quieter on the road too. Got pics in my members gallery. Head unit wise look at Becker or nakamichi for the standard look and great sound.

BMC CDA incoming...!

Hi guts, I've bought a cda, the 85-150 model, which I read won't fit the car unless I use an adapter Does anyone know the size and shape of what I need to get to fit my MAF so I can get it before the intake arrives and I can fit it straight away. A link would be perfect lol, as there are lots of bits like that on places like eBay, just need to know which to get... Tha in advance, Pete.

As above the nak decks are rated as pretty much the best out there, while the Becker is close behind and both would really suit the interior. Second hand the clarion decks of a few years ago were excellent, before they went all Las Vegas lights!!!

Sounds fantastic. I love my dance music but as I've got older I now prefer the more mellow stuff like the music you hear on Ibiza global radio. Remember seeing Tim Sheridan in Eden a few years back and that was like your mix on steroids lol. What do you use to mix with? CDs, decks or some fancy PC software?

I used to have a Woodstock in my Elise, sound seemed good though hardly the best car for quality hifi. Felt a bit cheap though compared to alpines etc.

Gave the car its first wash of the new year, and a coat of chemical guys xxx hardcore paste. Couple of weeks and the summer 17's will be back on. Never used it before but well impressed with how easy it was to use and ultimately how good it is for giving the paint depth and mirror like shine. Also seems to give a back to black finish to any bits of trim it touches. First picture is actually in the bonnet!!!
