I've got that pic on my desktop. Don't worry the Corrado only drinks optimax. Andy

Hi Chris, Yeah I remember - hope you're well. I've mainly been doing cosmetic mods to the C - Don't worry no drastic body kits or anything more like Audi TT gear knob, etc. Most recently full black leather electric Recaro interior, which I love. I'm curious as to what you think work should have been done to my Corrado. I've sorted the brakes by the way. Your car sounds a bit quick btw what sort of power is it kicking out? Andy

I think MJ interiors redo carpets probably better than original too. Not sure what price though. http://www.mjinteriors.co.uk

Chuck - I really do approve! I've never seen a de-handled Corrado before. Have you got TVR-style buttons on the mirrors or are you still considering? Andy

I'm in the process of fitting replacement door cards front and back and thought I might fit some dynamat in the process to improve speaker sound / reduce road noise. Expensive stuff though isn't it? Is it worth the money or are there more cost-effective options? Andy

Brian, They're not that knackered really. They're in pleated leather, which is not an effect that I like. I could email you pictures of them in my car if you like. Andy

May car has a Clifford Concept 300 alarm fitted. Where the Corrado's LED normally is (by the ignition key) there is a Clifford control unit fitted. At the moment there is a Clifford LED where the seat heating controls go. This LED now has to move to make way for seat heating controls. Question is - where should I move it to? I suppose it should be somewhere that's clearly visable. I'm just curious as to where other Corrado owners have had after-market LEDs fitted. Cheers

Scott, I'm pretty sure my Corrado doesn't have the cables in the floor (unless they're under the carpet?) as it didn't have heated or electric seats. Nor does it have a heated seat control in the dash - just a blank insert. I wish the cables were in place as it would make things much easier. Andy

At the weekend I part-exchanged my knackered non-heated leather interior for full Recaro black leather interior in vgc complete with heated and electric front seats. I did the deal with Simon at CMS, Derby who is a sound bloke btw. However, the cables for the seat heating elements and motors are still in the donor car. Simon needs advice on where these cables go to so he can remove them. Also, what else needs to be removed e.g. fuses, etc. Plus - can anyone give advice on fitting or recommend someone who's good at this sort of thing in the NorthWest (I'm not intending to DIY) I'd appreciate any help. Thanks Andy

Here's a happy ending....... Just part-exchanged my leather interior for full black leather Recaro interior with heated and electic front seats!! :D I did the deal with Simon at CMS in Derby who I can fully recommend btw. However, now I need some technical help. :? Please see "Fitting heated/electric Recaros" under "Inside your Interior". Thanks. Andy

One thing I'd like to improve with my C is the leather interior. I do love leather seats but these are showing their age and are looking tired and wrinkled. Ideally I'd like complete electric Recaro heated leather - but these are rare as hell. One thing I was considering was fitting something like Audi TT front seats and rear bench - these come up now and again at breakers. Does anyone know how easily (or not) these could be fitted? Andy

Anyone got pictures of this?
-
Well erm.. yeah. Suppose so.
-
Are they electric, leather, heated recaros? I might be interested in buying them off ya!
-
Confirmed. I do have a supercharged VR6.
-
Sorry, I meant was it a chrome 'Corrado' badge. Or was it a colour-coded one?
-
Nice look! Was it a Chrome 'Corrado' only I'd like to get hold of one? Andy

Paul1, I'm completely chuffed with this car. The Power is just astounding! I've had it since Nov' 02 and it's already made a trip to Stealth to have the brakes upgraded. Plus I'm getting the Stereo + Speakers sorted next week! In Pros are probably then next on the list.....

Brodie Briton Racing (BBR GTI) have a lot of experience in coverting the 2.9 VR6 to a 3.1 but they don't do it by boring-out and it's a very expensive mod. I agree with GazzaG60 - the supercharger's the way to go.
-
Yes, you're right! The only photos I have are the one's that appeared in PVW in July '02 and they're too big to upload. I will post some pictures when I get organised.
-
I'd appreciate seeing a picture too because sounds like I've got the same colour as Blown's Corrado and I'm thinking about getting Red/Clear In-Pros. Andy
-
The later, I suppose, but my car's big and tough!

Yeah, I fancy coming along to the event this year... It'd be my first visit. Not sure about the camping though. I'll have to organise a hotel. 8)

My MFA seems to function properly but every time I turn the ignition on the memory is blank and the clock reads 0:00. Has anyone experienced this before? Andy :?:

Seen a nice Italvolante steering wheel and boss for sale. Does anyone know if a momo style wheel boss for a Golf '88 mk2 would also fit a Corrado VR6 '92? Andy :?:
