Keighley Bypass today @ 12.30, smoked a MK4 Golf GTI and then to spotted a J Reg Silver Corrado G60? in front of me. Shot past him and then exhanged nods at the end of the bypass :) Cheers fella :) Car looked well apart from a farily bad crumple zone from the drivers door to back pannel !!! Not many Corrado's round these parts so was a nice journey back to work. NjA

Just thought I would post a couple of audio clips up of my VR6. I reckon it sounds pretty damn lush.......... Part 1 was going excellent untill some bellend in a micra fell asleep and drifted across the lanes on the bypass!! Part 2 was me just messing about. I started an automatic to manual conversion today and as such have a full automatic gearbox setup including the ECU (about 9mths old). Anybody interested in buying? If so make me an offer.......... ....and please keep ya fingers crossed that the conversion goes according to plan!!!! I must also say a massive thank you to Carl (bigpants baby) for supplying all the bits for the conversion. Top man and a pleasure to deal with. Merry xmas. Neil.

I am currently in the process of an auto to manual conversion an wondered if anyone can throw some light on the following for me: Can the transplant car be a MK3 Golf VR6???? If so.....are the following the same in a corrado and a golf: Are the Pedal boxes the same? Gear Linkage? Speedo drive's / wiring - Are they the same? Drive Shafts - Are they the same length? What clutch/Master Cylinders are required? Any help with this would be very much appriciated. Kind regards, Neil.

Well she's in for a respray today and although the guy doing the job has done some amazing work over the past 25yrs I'm still feeling somewhat nervous about it........... Also just read to the recent posts re windscreen replacement nightmares :( Autowindscreens are doing the job and already they have had problems....They ordered a new screen over the weekend and when it turned up at their depot, it was smashed! - I agreed with the fitter that they would remove the old screen this morning and replace it at the weekend when the paintwork was complete, they thought they were removing and replacing today!!! - Communication is obviously sh1te. Anyway, will post some pics etc when the job is complete. NjA

Bought the 'Magnex cat back for VR6.' that was advertised in the 'Parts for Sale' thread last nite and just had it fitted :twisted: Just thought I would let ya know that WOW, what a deal (£150 all in) and superb outcome. Got not only the cat back system, but also the Magnex cat replacement pipe (+ the original bill of sale :)) and the original system inc. the downpipes and a nearly new original cat, so well chuffed. Anyway, a few of you wanted to know the outcome, so there it is. Looks great and sounds brill. Cheers and many thanks to 'Shawshankkid' for the original lead, top man :) NjA666

Thanks for this advice, had the same advice from the few 'sprayers' I have talked to. I suppose the timing is perfect as **** knows how, but I now have a fairly major crack on the top passenger side of the screen, so new one needed anyway............least the insurance will cover that bit! :twisted: NjA666

Similar thing happened to me a while back. I dealt with it and put it this way, the next time he saw me, he didn't see my face! NjA.
