i will keep this in mind buddy. If the kit doesn't sell by the end of the month I would take less than I have invested but as it stands I am looking to get as much a return as I can on my cars as I am having to sell everything up.

 

5 cars, 5 bikes, 3 trailers, loads of bits and a half dozen set of wheels plus a ton of in car stereo equipment that I can't justify keeping. Just can't store them for 2-3 years.

 

Been a 20 year collection as well so a bit gutted.

So I've got to this stage with the engine bay and now questioning myself if I want to stay RED! This car is NOT going to be a show car or a restored original attempt so I could just go nuts and get lambo yellow ?! :-D

Agree with Jim, definitely nothing original as it's not a fabric wrapping on the loom.

I'm currently refurbing my gearbox and wondered if you could put a package together for just the bolt and washers ?

I posted about this recently and mine is fine without it but i do have the uprated headlight loom.

Got the first coat of primer on last weekend, Not going for show quality but think it came out ok using cans! :-)

Hmm... I've never been to AGM, The Corrado would not be ready by then by any means but sounds good if I could pop along in the everyday car. I live in Salsibury so could meet on the A303 ?

That's the exact kit I bought for mine. The only issue I found was that you have to retain the original Oil-Water cooler (due to the fitting/unions provided). To get rid of the oil to water cooler you also have to buy this: http://www.onlychargeddubs.co.uk/products/oil-filter-short-threaded-union-g60.html

 

Performance wise, my oil sits around 100-104 driving normal. and rises to 110 maybe 120 if I push it. (Stage 4 ported charger, with a 65mm pulley). However I would take those readings with a pinch of salt....as im not sure if the temperature sensors are genuine VAG, and also my oil temperature rises by 10 degrees if I switch my headlights on :-)

Did you go with the 19 Row or ? Ha, Life saver I would of missed that!

What are you guys using if you have replaced the standard G60 oil cooler ? Would like to think I would be pushing for 250bph+ So should I go for the 19 Row cooler on this link...

Well me and my very good and very handy mechanical friend got the engine out so now I'm left to sort out the engine bay!

what intercooler is that?

is it a wagner tuning one? if so have you gone for the rallye or golf g60 one?

ive read the rallye one only fits if you modify/cut off the tow eye bracket, ide be interested in your findings

It's the wagner rallye one, I'm expecting modification but wont get there for a while yet but will take some pictures to show how it does or doesn't fit! :-)
