Hi PeeBee, The answer is yes but you will need a crimp tool for non insulated crimps and the crimps which I can get for you and supply at cost. The difficult bit would be connecting the wires from the loom to the original plug. I would suggest cutting the old crimps off and using spades. This would make the loom a permanent fit but I see no problem. I would be happy to supply and fit the crimps for you at cost. They are 90p each and you need 8, makes no different to me, I still have to crimp something. PM if you like and we can chat more or you can call me. Zak

R8umar, you are in! PM'd and on the list, which is growing. Thanks

Hi KIP, I recently helped a guy out who got a loom off me. He had no voltage on the nearside light (fuse was good and so was the earth) and we fixed it by taking the power off the offside for his loom, you know the one he bought off me,lol. Any way you should be able to get round that way.

Oh, I'm blushing. Thanks guys. I do these for a bit of spending money and for the love, lol. Skid, You would need the lights connected and turned on to do an on-load voltage test. Not easy on a C. However, I have seen as low as 9v on a Mk2 Golf! The new loom will give you battery voltage as that is where it gets it's power. You may see upto 14v. Cool eh?. My loom involves NO cutting of wires (please never cut wires) and as just stated is easy enough to fit. If you would like one, please could you let me know before Monday as I'm ordering some parts. That goes out to anyone else who would be interested. Cheers Zak

Hi Skid, I really must change the front page, I only make the 3 relay loom now! It's the best all round. It's £57 posted to your door and signed for. It comes with a full set of illustrated fitting instructions and a fitting kit (4 or 5 tywraps). As for fitting, I think any one who is able to do a little bit should be able to fit the loom. The hardest part is getting the connectors on the back of the headlight. If you can remove the headlights it's a doddle really. Try and get some wd40 or something like on the 3 screws that hold the lights a few days before. If you live near I'll fit it for the price of the postage! Hope that helps Zak ---------- Post added at 9:43 AM ---------- Previous post was at 9:41 AM ---------- Just seen the Aberdeen location, looks like you'll be fitting it!!!

Jaded2882, Matt, I should have asked if you where going. I posted your loom yesterday. I'll be happy to help you fit it on Saturday if you bring it. -
Hi Storm 2, Thanks for the info. Always good to know what folk are making use of. The whole point of forums I guess. If the weather doesn't sort it self out I might look at making updated wiper looms. I hate rain!!!

Hi Bob, I can make it for you over the weekend if you like. I would say an extra £3 for postage? That will be £60 all in. Please PM me if your are interested and I will get it sorted for you. I have sent a loom to New Zealand in the past, so Ireland is not a problem. Thanks Zak

Hi there, 3 relay loom is the way forward. 2 relays is so last decade!!!!!! Difference is 1 relay for each dipped beam instead of both lights sharing one. If you want one could you PM me please. I always get email about PM's and that reminds to go on the forum. Life just seems to be getting busier. I would recommend one for your Caddy too, tee hee. I make these for Mk1's 2's and have one fitted to my Mk3 golf. Even on the Mk3 it makes a difference, although they are hard to make plug an play on the Mk3 Anyway enough waffle.
