  4. Hi Scott, Good timing I have just ordered parts and will have looms ready on Friday is all my parts arrive. The looms are £57 posted. All you need is one of my looms and your lights will be better than new. There is no cutting or bodging or savagery required, just a little patience and half an hour of your time, OK and hour! The loom takes over control of the lights and pulls full battery voltage giving you bright lights. Not sure what else you need to know. PM me if you want one and I'll get back to you. Regards Zak
  5. I have sent PM's!!! Toad, yours is in the post!
  6. That's great and you are welcome.
  7. Hi Steve. Enjoy fitting the loom and being able to see in the dark. Rob and Tom you have a PM.
  8. Ok, I'm making a loom for khouri next week. Any one else interested while I'm making? Zak
  9. Thanks Matt, Glad to hear it! I've had 8 cars since then and always return to VW. Wanted to get a VR but have a 40 mile commute these days. The noise is awesome! Zak
  10. Hoping to get next batch out tomorrow and I have 1 spare!!!!!! £55 delivered to your door, PM if you want it!! Zak
  11. Hi all, I just PM'd folk about looms that are on order. If you asked and I've not sent you a message or you want a loom, please let me know as I will be doing a batch this week and may have a spare or I can order more parts if you get me a PM before tomorrow. Many thanks Zak
  12. Hi there, I'll PM you next week. I'm working away this week do can't do anything. The looms cone with fully illustrated fitting guide that is fairly simple yo follow. Hope that helps.
  13. Hi Jimmy, I have never had anything to do with HID's! I'm guessing a little here but it's educated guessing, the dip works off the ballast and the main is just a standard bulb? If this is the case then a loom of mine will give you a brighter main beam but may not have an affect on the dipped beam. This will solve the main beam problem but not help the loss of dipped beam. When the main goes on the dip goes out, that would be reason for your loss of charge in the ballast. I have made looms for Rallye's in the past and have fitted a Diode on the loom to keep the dip on when the main is on (those fish eye headlights were pooh). This might work for you but my concern with doing this on a standard C headlight would be heat and how it would affect the reflective portion of the light (the reflective surface can damage easily) as you don't have standard lights it might be OK. I hope that helps! I guess I could do a loom for you with the diode to keep both beams on at the same time but I would prefer to chat to you about it first. The loom would just costvthe same as a standard one as I have diodes kicking about and it would only take 10 minutes longer. If you want speak about it PM me your number and I'll call you in the week. Regards Zak
  14. Hi there, Been away all week but am happy to take orders for looms Paul Sam Chris James sorry but I don't have plugs at the minute. Could I ask you please to send me a PM if you want a loom. I will need to get parts on and won't be able to get looms ready until after next weekend. I'm happy to take money now or when the looms are ready. Many thanks Zak
  15. I think any one who can open a bonnet and check oil should find the loom easy enough to fit. Please don't quote me,lol. The OEM plugs look pretty and make the loom slightly easier to fit but are difficult to get hold of and add £20 to the price of the loom. In my opinion not required but the customer is always right. I don't have any spare at the moment anyway! The parts to make the looms are readily available and you could do it yourself if you had the tools. I have the tools and am an electrical and electronic engineer, most folk just prefer to pay me to do it. I don't charge the earth. I also buy in bulk and get better discount. My easy to follow picture diagrams make the fitting easier too. Although if any one wants it fitted for the price of postage I'm happy for them to come to the house and I'll do it for you. You might even get a brew!! Hope that helps you decide. £55 for the time being.
  16. Hi Sam, Sure am. Will need a week or so to get sorted. Would you like one??
  17. Hi Paul, Consider yourself on the list. Hopefully towards the end of the week. Thanks Zak
  18. £58 standard International, £63 tracked within the UK or £65 tracked to your door or £95 next day and tracked. These prices are quoted using the Royal mail web site at 550 grams. Hope that is OK. I will need a few days to make a loom for you.
  19. Aide, Make sure the silicon is not corrosive. I used it for a bit in some applications but it can corrode the connections that are in the relay base. Thanks for the kind words and enjoy the night vision.
  20. Sorry, I can't help you out with the connectors but if you need anything else I would be happy to help.
  21. Ok Chris I shall put you down for one. I don't ask for payment until the loom is made as my job takes me away and I never know when I'm going to be around but I will have it ready by the end of the week. That would be next week, lol.
  22. Hi James, I have had no experience with the lights you speak of but the problem lies with the voltage arriving at the headlights. it drops significantly and the light are dim. i would expect the loom to make a difference to the performance of your lights but couldn't guarantee it. I guess if you did buy a loom and it made no difference you should be able to sell it on here or maybe we could arrange something? Regards Zak ---------- Post added at 12:03 PM ---------- Previous post was at 11:52 AM ---------- akacheesy, Not a stupid question as the price changes depending on the cost of my stock. I like to keep the price as low as possible to be able to continue selling these. Times are hard! At the moment the price is £55 delivered via recorded post. The loom comes with picture fitting instructions and a few tywraps to help in fitting. It sounds alot but I make very little money and only use quality parts and make each loom like I'm fitting to my own car. I'm an aircraft Electrical Engineer/Technician and so have high standards. if you would like one out of this batch please let me know as I will be making them over the course of the next week. However I am happy to take an order whenever, it just makes things easy doing a few at a time. Thanks and regards Zak
  23. Had a few PM's and should be able to get the looms done some time this week but mat need to order more stock. If any one else is interested please let me know soon as. I may also have a couple of sets of OEM connectors and would be able to do those for £68 posted as a one off or 2 off. The plugs are used but the terminals are new and a pound each and there are 8. The plugs are hard to come by now but they are better off on someones car than sat in my garage. Regards Zak
  24. Hi all, Wishing everyone a Happy New Year. I have some kit in the shed and will taking orders again. Regards Zak
