  1. That is exactly what I done mate it just so happened that a Corrado very near me that had been stood for 5 year's came up on Ebay underneath the car was shot running gear wise but inside was like timewarp I actually felt bad ripping it to bit's it was so so original inside.
  2. That's nothing Ray the lovely chap who made me start this thread was trying to sell Corrado posters not that long ago like they were genuine it was only when questioned about them did he say they were scanned repo's or something like that though there was no mention of this on Ebay.
  3. It's not just about being ripped off. It say's at the top of the page in the classified's the thread's are to be open bhhh how many have been had over due to a load of pm'ing going on there seem's to be a lack of integrity. A bit sad really...
  4. Headlight's I believe are obsolete the late fog's in the frame's are also I think however you can get late indicator's.There are plenty of good people on this Forum but there are also those who given the chance will rip you off, I have learn't alot in the time i have been on here and I know myself who I would do business with no qualm's and the one's I would avoid like the plague..
  5. It's all about how you view it mate (from an enthusiast's point of view and helping other's out) or just trying to profiteer I totally agree if someone is willing to pay that well it's up to them.£160 for late indicator's/fog's with one of the fog's with a big crack in it that's great value that is. Come on now.....
  6. Just having a browse on Ebay tonight and it seem's one of our own member's is blatantly trying to profit from inflated prices a bit sad really here is just a sample http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/vw-corrado-front-seat-new-padding-bolster-535881377B-and-535881378B-/271363450754?pt=UK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&hash=item3f2e85a782 Oh I had to add this one http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/VW-Corrado-LHD-Headlighsts-early-type-model-only-brand-new-/271360748495?pt=UK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&hash=item3f2e5c6bcf Dear oh Dear.

  11. I thouht you were buying it initially for the rally but also for spare's for your car too. It look's like blackberry.
  12. Cheers Matt yeah a bit of painting going on amongst other thing's will probably get the subframe and crossmember redone at the same time. Should be getting the runabout in a couple of week's I'll post some pics when I get it. Look's like you are starting a bit of work on your car too keep it up :)
  13. Yes and apparently it's his car!!!!!! That's what he told someone I know in reply to a question. What a muppet.
  14. Ahhh right when you previously owned the car I thought you meant recently :bonk:
  15. When did you do your bushes then Mic??
  16. Do you need something from breaker?
  17. Good try mate the wheel's are staying secret mate don't worry they are nowhere near your's but they may provide a talking point that will have to do you I'm afraid. April there will still be salt on the road's then guaranteed. Don't do salt me ;)
  18. Good point that mate I hadn't even noticed that I do have Slightly custom early door card's in mine (no door pin's,no electric window switch's) they are cream though but they are padded so in answer to your question not sure myself maybe someone of longer association with the Corrado could tell you.
  19. Thank's Chris appreciate your input mate the BBS wheel don't worry mate it will be with me for the forseeable future as they are getting pretty rare now but if I do consider selling it you will be offered first refusal. 2015 I know it sound's so far away mate but these car's can really do your head in and I may be over estimating the time it will take but I would rather do it that way than say it will be ready may and you run about trying to get thing's done quick, I want to enjoy the journey plus it won't be coming out when the weather get's a bit pooh which is why I said 2015.I also have this new car to have a play with but I'll update when I get it you know what they say "new year new car"
  20. Good batteries these nothing wrong with them the reason I got an Optima is due to the fact my car run's standalone management which mean's you are not on the quickstart system that the R32 use's to start which mean's when turning car over to start the DTA will make all it's calculation's regarding parameter's etc regarding all the engine's it is made to run on and when it is happy it tell's the engine "ok fire up now" which can make it sound like you have an old battered engine cranking over a few time's before firing up but it is for a reason.
