Hi guys, the Corrado got a bit hot today sat in some traffic, the fan kicked in but it was really slow and it didnt cool the car at all. Any idea what would cause the fan to run slow?

Hi guys, im having issues with the blowers on my j reg valver. Tried searching on here for fixes but can only find info on the later models. Basically the blower only works on number 4. I get warm and cool air no problem its just the speed im having issues with. Im new to Corrados so apologise if theres a simple fix for this that im missing!

Ill be going down early on Sunday morning. Leaving the Birmingham area at 6am if anyone fancies a mini convoy?

Recently got an early spec 2 liter valver after owning a Polo for 4 years The Polo The new toy :D I was a little worried about getting insurance on it as im only 22, only have two years driving experience and my job is classed high risk. After searching for insurance and the quotes coming up at well over 3k i was starting to think i would have to give up and sell it. I then had an email from a classic car insurance company so thought it would be worth a shot so i made a phone call and got it covered for just under a grand which is brilliant and less i was paying on my 1 liter Polo!! Im chuffed to bits with the Corrado...the increase in power from the Polo is crazy. Its lowered 40mm on just springs and standard shocks....its safe to say those standard shocks will be off in no time Its got a decat Powerflow exhaust which sounds great. Its got a set of 15x7j BBS alloy, not sure if i like them or not, would ideally like something with some dish It has a few problems that need seeing to, its got steam coming out the vents in the dash. No service history at all so its having a complete overhaul...full service, headgasket, waterpump, timing ect. The bonet catch doesnt work and it needs a new wing due to a bit of rust Not sure what the plans for it are, all i know is there will be an engine transplant over winter VR or 20vt not sure yet

I traded my 1 litre polo for the rado do I knew I wasn't getting a mint car. I think I've bought everything I need to get the car up to a reasonable standard

yeah the forum is very very good, already found answers to a few questions i had. Being a complete noob im glad i googled corrado owners forum!

Thanks for the warm welcome guys :) Collected the car this morning and all seemed well....until a ton of steam that smells like coolant started coming through the dash vents, so after doing a bit of homework on here it would seem the heater matrix is nackered (if im wrong please correct me)

Hey guys im just about to step into the world of the Corrado with a nice clean a 2 litre 16v Been driving a 1 litre Polo for the past 4 years so its going to be a hell of a step up!! Cant wait to pick it up tomorrow morning :D The plans are to get it on air and find some cool alloys (Not a fan of the BBS at are currently on it) Andy :)
