  1. I hope above hope that this is not some sick joke, but seems real. http://bbs.scoobynet.com/scoobynet-general-1/947972-losing-my-son-please-help.html hopefully if there is anybody in the area they can attend.
  2. So took my mate out for a play in the Raddo last night as he has never driven anything you could call quick before. He runs a mk3 Golf GTi but it hardly sets fire to the road. Anyway after a long few thrashes we turned back for home, then it developed a misfire and slowly died  After quick check for sparks and finding all present and correct, Fuel check showed the needle still above red but after a quick crawl beneath and tap of the tank the echo from within told otherwise :bonk: Anyone else had this before?
  3. Yup the snow can sure be fun to drive in, although at 5am on the way home before the plough has been it is sometimes a tad daunting, the Corrado is to be a summer toy and not going to have to endure the winter though. The good old bus of a Passat is the daily hack for such purposes that and the old 82 Caddy:)
  4. So my G60 has decided to start weeping it coolant :( I am finding there is some issues froim a couple suppliers as to which rad to fit as i am here in UK and my car is back in Finland. Is there anything odd about these rads???? /i have a non air con model, one supplier told me its the same as Golf 16v another said its a one of specialist one for that car, another has a choice of two and without a reg number he cant help?!?!? how hard can it be. I am hoping to pick on e up here before i fly back due to price differences, any help is much appreciated. Car is a LHD '90 G60, originally from Germany.
  5. As the title says really, I am originally form Edinburgh but a few years back i moved out to FInland. Anyhoo, last weeek i found myself a very sick Corrado G60 and picked it up for 1500e and with the addition of an operational Engine Temp sensor i had a car that passed its MOT first time despite having sat for a year =) (finish price on this car would be between 2500-3000e as it stands now. A bargain i do believe was had The car come with smaller pulley wheel on the charger and a new chip in the ECU. Stainless zorst from cat back 2.5" Coilovers of a brand i do not know but hopefully somebody here can help with that' 16" borbet alloys with brand new tyres, only Falken but still new is new. Alas my radiator has sprung a leak and i need to track down a new one. and some new leads. after that a good service and its ready to fly again =)
