right then, i bought a pair of used inpro's (from rinse) and fitted them to the car, everything works perfectly, now today i have bought a hid upgrade kit for them so i can actually see at night and all of a sudden the halo rings dont work. im not blaming the lights its just seems too coincidental for it not to be something to do with the hids now i've not really had time to investigate as the rain started, could it be becuase the hid bulbs have a plastic base? therefore not earthing for the angeleyes?, just a thought as im not sure how they're actually wired inside yet. that aside the light output is now fantastic and its not on a relayed loom yet.

I recently took my standard fw off and had it machined, it now weighs 5.5kg (12lb) and there is no downside, and it cost me £20
