Great thread currently looking at a MK5 bub setup and I’m not 100% sure on what loom I need obviously engine loom and ecu. Do I need all the interior wiring and fuse box to run the pedal? Or what Thanks

Hi Recently had a split pipe issue. So I've solved that, just don't trust the reliability. So I was looking at silicone hoses, for the 2.9 it's pricey but for a 2.8 MK3, mega cheap and good quality. My question is, anyone know or tried the 2.8 silicone hoses on the 2.9? I know it's basically the same but the bulk heads and that are different. I've ordered some pipes for £55 but wanted to start the topic for some opinions. When they arrive I'll have a butchers

So what engine and year was you running before? I guess having a 200hp turbo setup in something that's fairly light is decent. Yeah I feel id end up uprating the turbo anyway, Its just getting hold of a BAM at a good price. Think BAM can take just over 300 standard which would be spot on

Well I guess 350 is a little over the top but you've got to have goals haven't you, image is to have it as a long term project Yeah ive been researching as we know they hit there last legs around 300-350 so it would do the job, Id personally uprate internals anyway. Itll probably be cheaper to get an AUG 170, Forge it then itll take whatever I put down it haha. Anyone running a BAM/AUG in a VR6 Shell
