How do you mean? It's know the block does sit higher or lower but many people have done ABF haven't they

Started a thread about 9A and ABF. Think in the end would be an ABF for turbo just wanted more opinions http://the-corrado.net/showthread.php?44298-G60-Vs-VR6/page3 So, Say I wanted to aim for 350bhp reliable power, not a daily driven car. G60 remove engine and convert to a 1.8T BAM, newer technology etc VR6 and covert to a VR6T, the sound gets me. What's people's opinions?

I always used to think that the VR6T was a common conversion aside the 20v setup. Mental really that for 300-350bhp you'd spend like crazy amounts. It's be noise we all want. Think I'll turbo ABF in a G60 Shell

Does it cost this kinda of money (£4000) if you do it yourself? Sounds epic this setup tho respect to people who have it.

Definitely worse time to sell. I'm selling my polo coupe 1.6 16v turbo project, worse time 😂 Bet you can't wait for 1.8t. Turbo the 9A!!

Nearly 9 years on from this post. Who's still about and what power are you getting. Anyone hit 300? Using the G charger or have you gone turbo? Same gearbox?

Search around but no complete answers Getting hold of a running shell. I'm wanting to go turbo but not a G60 charger system, I will be forging the engine etc etc. All uprated parts needed. Just wanted people's opinions on which is best and what gearbox would you go for to for max power I know 9A would be a straight drop in. What can the box take? ABF mk3 lump guessing its electrics? Thanks
