I wanted to know if its possible to open up Corrado headlights and separate the glass from the housing? i wanted to do this as i want to spray the inside grey or black to give a bit of a tint. (joey mod) if it is possible can anyone tell me how hard it is to do and what is involved?? also any advice on whether i should go through the effort and take the headlights apart or just tint them with tinting film??

dumptyboy, i have removed the controls and once i have disconnected the cables it operates fine. but i have noticed that the cable that operates the de-mister has alot of tension and the wire does not move in and out. its like something is stuck or holding it back. this has caused the cogs to wear the bottom leaver

Hi all, i am having a problem with my heater control. when turning the left knob towards the windscreen de-mister it stops half way between the the de-mister and floor vent. i cant turn it any more because there is too much tension. any suggestions? thanks

Hi all, I recently brought a corrado vr6. It needs abit of work doing to it but its still a sound car. I just like to know if anyone has a centre console for one of these to fit a 1994 M reg. Also can everyone post pictures of there Corrados as i need inspiration :D

thanks for the reply Stonejag, its aright pain in the arse as the mirrors are angled weird lol but thanks for the advice. ill give it another clean and put it back together but if that fails again ill be robbing a mk3 golf great idea didnt even think of that :D

Hi everyone, i am new to this site. Basicly i recently brought a corrado vr6 and the wing mirror switch is not adjusting the mirrors. the switch lights up but does not operate. i have checked the fuse and it is fine i did some research and it said inside the switch the copper contacts may need a rub down as they get corroded and then it would be as good as new. i opened the switch and the copper contacts were very corroded. after rubbing them down till they were clean and shiney i put the switch back together hoping that it would work... BUT it didnt! ::scratch:
