ah ok, after the last comment it seems like that makes sense, i did what dragon said and it was the fuse, thank god but again it goes up fine but struggles on the way down as if its getting no power. so any ideas. lubricating?

my spoiler operated via the switch yesterday and it was going up fine but struggled on the way down as if it had no power today its dead :'( ahhh what do i doooo!!!

i was planning on buying one when i was 16 but brought a mk4 golf 1.4 instead as i got it cheap. but i have owned this corrado not even a month yet but just doing little bits and bobs to get get the car how i want it :)

what is the difference between the early and late headlight glass?

ok so you say it only works on number 4, i cured this problem yesterday. basicly if you have a late corrado like myself what you need to do is.... take the heater control out (requires taking the centre console out if you dont want to break anything) disconnecting the loom unclip the copper contact which the look goes into (use a screwdriver to lift it out) now remove the heater blower nob, jus pull hard and it pops off. now you should see the copper contact which connects to the main control which you have taken out. to solve the problem you need some long nose pliers to twist the copper so it looks like this ~ if it this shape great, but make sure that it looks like the picture below [ATTACH=CONFIG]70261[/ATTACH] Hope this helps mate. once you open it up the picture will make sense :)

well i striped the lower dash and found where the cables connect onto the lever which controls the flaps inside the heater box. the one that controls the de-mister is very stiff. and i dont see how i can sort this because its as something inside is holding back the flaps. Stuck!!! any ideas anyone. i really hope i dont have to replace the whole heater box, dont want to take the dash out :(
