The postage is a tenner, and takes 5 days, and no mention of any tax ect think beacuse its exported it will avoid the austrailian tax, imagine they will just label it a present or something! So its about 60 odd quid for 4 delivered! If i had the funds and knew they fitted, i think we could get them down to a tenner each with a group buy, and think a LOT of valvers would be interested think shifting 100 would be easy!?
-
ah well then it could still be something along them lines i would of thought, but im sure someone will correct me as i havent fooking clue about VR's!!
-
I had this, thought it was a blocked breather pipe from the bottom end blowing oil up in to the intake, replaced pipe, and it didnt fix it, that should be your fist port of call, a small amount is 'normal' i think But, with me it seems it was the head gasket blowing for the second time in 8 months ::( Hope its a small amount, or just a blocked breather pipe mate!! (im taking it you have a valver?!)

Right they have e mailed me back and said they ARE bosch ones, result :-) So now i suppose i will have to order a set and see if they fit, i think they should as they look the same, still can't believe how cheap they are!!
-
I have e mailed them and asked if there bosch ones, doubt they are, but lot of the other injectors seem to be, but they state that there . . would of thought they would do the job, just bit of worry as they dont state any VW fitments, so no one no's if any of the merc ones listed are the models that have the suitable replacement ones for VW's!?

I see what your on about, the patterns are oppisite sides, back = blue on left, bottom = blue on right . . ?! -
LOL i saw that as well, and the price is amazing, nearly half of GSF!!!! Now if only someone can advise if these will fit, i could save a lot of people a lot of money :-)
-
Ah, but one of the reasons i ask is beacuse i have found this website . . http://www.injectorsonline.com/indivpro ... rrency=GBP And there PROPER cheap, but dont show a VW fit, but lots of merc ones? I remember someone saying the merc ones had a much better spray pattern?
-
Gunna replace these with the new engine cos fairly sure the current ones just drip in the fuel!! But i remember someone saying that merc ones were better, and slightly cheaper, so just quicky as to what merc ones these were, and are they just a straight swap? Cheers

I own a valver without electric windows as well :-) Nice to no im not the only one, just going to cause issues in next week or two when i have to swap the door with one with electric windows!! As my dad says, less there is, less there is to go wrong!! and i dont have to put the keys back in when you forget to wind the windows up before you get out, but still have to with the sunroof!! Its much more individual than those common electric ones :-p

Result, just tried 'normal' socket and it worked?! in all my years of fixing cars iv'e never come across one of these!!! Learn something new every day eh! Cheers mate ur a diamond :-) Andy

Does it just look like a normal socket, one of the ones with loads of teeth?

Im in the process of stripping the new/secondhand 2.0 block i have while i await the head back from the engineers, and i go to undo the bottom timing bolt, the one off the crank, and im greeted by this odd looking nut. Not the nice big 22 odd mm nut i would of liked, so my question is, what the hell is it, what size and where do i get the right socket to get it off?! Its kinda like a reverse torx, slighty more rounded tho Cheers Andy
-
My first bet would be a bush or something? i had nasty clunk and it turned out to be the wishbone bolt worked loose!!! tho if its been standing, seems unlikely? Get the WD40 out and have good spraying sesh before you pull bits off i would say!!
-
I emailed the fella selling the lights saying there WAY over priced, and i think i have upset him, this is the response i got . . Hi Andy you fancy doing a straight swap on them for your Corrado??? Ha, what are you, Ebay price fairy? MWAAHAAAHAAAAHAAAAHAAAAAA

I thought the description was interesting, like the fact he advertises a charger, then goes on to describe it as a 'badly worn and used charger belt'?!? cheeky munt!!
-
are they these indicators? http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/VW-Corrado-Front- ... dZViewItem Cos just looking at these myself, and £60 quid is WAY over priced when you can get new ones from GPC for £19 quid each!! Some people will try on e bay, like this cheeky number . . . http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/VW-GOLF-CORRADO-P ... dZViewItem Y

Fella, the bushes are a tenner each from GSF, and my mechanic (is in rake, near liphook about 40 mins form me, and you) charged me 290 quid to replace both my wishbones, supply and fit new ball joint and anti roll bar links, replace both rear axle bushes, and supply and fit new brake hoses as well as a few other little things tidyed up here and there! Hes a shi* hot mechanic, and nos what hes talking about, and his hourly rate is only about £36 a hour, he said he had right nightmare with me car as well, and was there till 7 at night fixing it as he was away the next week!! So, sorry no excuses!!! Let us no if you want his number? ANDY -
Jus found this company, some parts fairly expensive, but few things a LOT cheaper, hydraulic tappets being one, about 2 quid cheaper than GPC or GSF ect, thats a lot when you need 16!! http://www.vwspares.co.uk/corrado.php Andy
-
matt, i no of a VERY good mechanic in rake (near Liphook) i use him all the time if i can, unless its un-drivable to get there ect, i live in Camberley and still take it the 30-40 minuite drive to him! Good mechanics are like gold dust, treat them well :) Andy

I would be interested in these, sounds like a VERY worthwhile thing to do as its in peices anyways, any idea how much its gunna set me back? Also on the inlet being slighty rough, is this really right for this head, as the only reason its done i thought is to help mix the fuel and air, but the injector sprays it almost directly on to the valve, so up untill that point, smooth would be better?!?
