What engine you got? I have a new DP for a late valver which I never fitted so is available should you need it. Will check the flexi bit is on there.

Yeah it is good condition with no damage. As said I got it purely as a precaution when I refitted my windscreen as I thought the old one would get damaged when removing it. Guys I need a throttle body for my valver please. The plastic hook that the accellerator cable hooks into is broken.

More thyan likely if it was an N reg valver. I live in Harlesden so it is VERY possible. Just trying to think if I was doing anything that night to warrant being out in the car...........

What a tragic day to try work on the rado today. Had all the coillies ready, accelerator cable and BOOM!!! cable too short and locking wheel nut key busted on me trying to remove the nuts. Packed it all up late this afternoon and left the car standing, round two next week-end!

Tried to do the accelerator cable today. First issue, cable from VW is too short, not happy. Next problem I see the plastic bit the ball from the cable hooks into is broken and the previous owner has merely cable tied the darn thing in there. So if anyone can source me one I would be happy, it off a late valver. Also if anyone has those funny clips for the parcel shelf next to the drivers door with the square bit you insert and then twist the screw to secure. Also an accelerator cable in good condition would be appreciated too.

Thanks mate. Let me check with euros tomorrow first as I am sure I can get the calipers much cheaper than that. I do get traders prices so reckon I should see around the £40.00 mark a caliper.

Sounds great mate. What will postage be and can I paypal you the cash? I assume the discs are 4x100?

Will the discs and calipers from a '91 1.8 16v fit?
