After a quick glance over last week it all seemed good mate. One speaker missing from the top but otherwise in very good nick. Could use a proper clean though. Thanks Neil. Had a gander for some uprated wiring but saw nothing, I have a loom now myself which I plan to fit so hopefully that will resolve the issue. Tried fishing round in the fender with no success so I think my only option is to remove the arch liner to get in the back and see what's going on.

I hear what you are saying but looking at the exhaust it is blowing round the centre section so surely it should have been advised and considering there is NO wiring attached to the side repeaters and the fact that there was no working horn as it had an aftermarket steering wheel fitted surely I may have SOME recourse against the testing station? On the other hand could I be bothered to follow it up as it is far away from me so I may as well just sort it myself.

Figured it may be the case. I have all the stuff to sort it, just the headlight now has me confused and I was not prepared for the side repeaters. Oh well, will suck it up and sort it I guess lol. You live and you learn I guess. I was so eager to own a corrado I ran into this one blind. Never fear, next time I shall be more aware.

So I have a late dash for sale with the glove box, no anciliaries. I was only after the centre bit and vents on it which I have removed so if anyone wants it, shall we say £15.00 posted? I also have two steering bosses for aftermarket steering wheels and an aftermarket steering wheel, make me an offer.

Just checking mate, are the vents the same for early and late models? Mine is a late model so we may have a small issue if they are not the same.

I think I may be a little screwed here but would appreciate some advice. So as some of you know I recently purchased a blue corrado valver. Stupidly I went on the guys word that all electrics etc on the car work just fine. On the day I collected the car i realised the electric mirrors didn't work. The seller proceeded to rifle through the fusebox and produced a fuse saying that was all that needed replacing. Checked fuses today and there is nothing wrong with the fuses so I have no idea where he produced it from. Secondly the exhaust is suddenly blowing from from somewhere so it needs replacing, have already bought a new one, and to my horror I have discovered that the drivers side headlight and side repeaters do not work. Switched the headlight bulb and still nothing, works when highbeam engaged only (wiring?) and the side repeaters don't even have any wiring???!!! Now my question is how in the name of all that is holy did this car get through an MOT???!!! I have now spent over a thousand pounds in parts to get the car up to standard but I feel I have been fleeced by the seller. I know I should have probably checked on the day I bought it but looking at the MOT certificate you would assume all is in order. I feel like contacting the seller and telling him I am going to proceed with contacting my lawyer and the ombudsman because clearly there has been some dodgy dealings going on here especially with the MOT testing station. Am I right to want to do this or am I basically screwed? I love the car but there is a serious amount of work to do on it albeit small jobs I don't have the space at home to do this living in central London. What are my options please guys?

Trying to change the MOMO gearknob out for a stock one. Unclipped the gaiter surround, there was a small alan screw which I undid. this only allows the gaiter to be loose. Can't figure out how to get the MOMO gearknob off though and it is doing my head in. Switched out the crappy aftermarket steering wheel too for the original. Now finally have a decent steering wheel and a hooter that works so happy about that........ just that darn gearknob.

So I thought I would start work on the valver today. Drivers side headlight not working so switched out the bulbs even though the one in there looked fine. Still no luck, checked fuses all good. When i turn on high beams the headlight comes on but turns off again when i switch off high beam. Is there an issue with the wiring???!!! Then the side indicators... this really boiled my blood, switching them out for smoked ones and realised the damn things don't even have any wiring connected to them!!! Do I need to remove the arch liner to gain access to the inside fender to check for the wires? I wonder how the bloody hell this car made it through MOT with none of these things working???!!!

Replaced all fuses and sadly still not working. I have taken a break for the day as I am too annoyed with the car to carry on working on it. May have a go at new switches or check out the mirrors as I have to remove them anyway to put in new mirror glass. What a PITA!!

Got the same issue. Gonna check fuse today and if it aint that I guess I will be in the market for a new switch :-(

What an amazing build!! Can't believe you're going to break this car.

Geez!!! Why did I not see you guys??!!! Someone flashed me as I left to take the car back to rainbow from across the road. Right so next time guys let's make a plan to at least meet each other lol. Yega, you need to find me next time any way with the air vent you are after lol.

Seriously mate, I am sure I saw both on there. they are being sold seperately though. No access to the bay at work so will double check in the evening for you.

How do you get away with no front number plate? Car looks the dogs danglies by the way. Also wondering about the side repeaters and MOT time.........
