Hi, i am intrested in this set up just wondering if the propshaft will bolt up to a s3 1.8t gearbox as i see you have a v6 box for sale aswell so this set up i am guessing is from a v6? cheers Kev.

Yeah bit of a weird one, it is a 93 C it had a plate change when it was imported from Guernsey back in 2007 but i always thought the DVLA didnt give a car a newer plate than the year it was built. Not as though there would'nt of been any spare L reg plates lying about? I was a bit concerned about this when buying it but did a data check and all came back ok. Its got my initials in the plate so pretty cool and keeps peeps thinking!

Decided to do my rear lights red, well semi red to keep the feds and the MOT testers happy. fitted orange bulbs aswell just to be sure they flashed amber. Brought some 3mm pin stripe tape and stuck it on in bits ie strip left a gap then another strip gap ect. Got cleaning whilst the lights were out to get rid of all the years of crap in the boot shut, door shuts and under bonnet are next to be degreased and polished. Going to remove the sound deadening under the bonnet as it is pretty hanging aswell.

when i removed my scuttle panel and smoothed the bay on my KR turbo i plated over the vent, i dont get any condensation. sucks the air in from inside the car for the heaters all good even on wet days and keeps the catch tank stench out. Just brought myself a DBP 16v and getting on the case with that. just love the colour. top job you have done with yours. Kev.

Hi Interested in the gearknob. is it a standard knob? or an aftermarket one. cheers Kev. -
I know what you mean, i have to choose my routes to avoid the speed bumps and have managed to sort out the smaller front splitter off my mate but he lives in cornwall and not down for a couple of weeks. I think the smaller splitter will suit the wheels better. Small splitter for tucked wheels and big splitters for wheels with poke is what i think looks best on Corrado's but that is my personal opinion. looks proper cool hard slammed though

The Suspension arrived today and i got straight on it. Wound down all four corners as low as they would go 120mm and slapped them on. Before After Vw chimp they are 7 inch all round with 195/40 tyres. the hub adaptors are 35mm and they need to be too clear the struts as there is only about 4mm of clearance between the wheel rim on the inside and the coilovers. cheers Kev.

Now gone sorry, they didnt need any arch work as they are a friendly offset, et 65 to start with and then et 30 with the 35mm adaptors used. can get a really good slam on them as well. I am building up another Corrado at the moment and have put the wheels on that i have started a thread (dark burgendy pearly daily), my coilovers are arriving this week and i will put some pics up and any issues i had.

Through out last week i have been fitting the TT seats and what a tw#t that was. the fronts were not that bad to fit as the TT runners fit straight between the corrado runners, i did have to reposition the seat buckle on the TT seat to fit between the rado runners but that was it. The front of the TT seats runners were bolted onto the raised bit that the rado seat runs through and studs welded in for the rear of the runners for the front seat. that was the fronts fitted, i didnt remove any of the corrado metal work just in case i wanted to revert back but they do look nice in there so i dont think i will be. The rears were a complete nightmare to fit, all of the TT hinges had to be cut and modified to get them to fit and the locking pins at the top of the seats had to be lowered so the seats could be locked in, i could of bolted the seat backs up solid but i wanted them to be able to fold down like standard seats. The seat buckles had to be relocated and the corrado seat belts removed and the holes bunged up in the c pillars where the belt used to hang, i did this as the TT seats have the belts fitted within the seat backs. There is about an inch gap between the rear quarter card and the seat as the TT seats are slightly smaller than the rado ones but i will sort this out when i leather up the rear quarter cards. The seat base wasnt too bad to fit i had to make up a couple of hinges for the front of the seat base to secure it and rob some of the foam from the rado seat to raise it up to the seat backs and that was pretty much it. Pay day wednesday so the cheap coilovers will be next on the things to do list and that will be it for a bit. I have got a G60 engine in the garage that i will be building up to go in this one, but the KR Turbo is in need of gearbox rebuild and diff so i want to crack on and get that done. I have the VR6 gearbox for it i just need to whip the bell housing off a 4 pot box i have to go on the vr box and then its off to TSR for a diff and rebuild. Bloody cars!

Hi all, After using my Aqua Blue KR turbo as my daily hack for the past few months it was time to get another daily hack, after changing my job which is only a 2 mile round trip opposed to the 20 mile round trip before its not really good to use the 16vt as it bearly gets warm and its a fuel guzzling spaz. So the hunt was on for another dub i did look at getting a mk2 golf but there is something about the rado's, they are a lot more classy than the mk2 and dont look out of place on the road even nower days with its body lines and power.Having already owning a corrado i wasnt really sure weather to have 2 but sod it the neighbours must think i am a right cock. Dont really like the vw euro boxes of today they all look the same love my 90's cars so the corrado was a done deal. I got an good tax rebait enough to get me a rado that needs a bit of tlc, I found a Dark burgendy Pearl 2.0l 16v on Ebay it had 2 owners from new 145k on the clock and full vw service history to 130k, a few age related marks car park dings in the doors, light rust appearing on the sill and wing around the headlight ect. The heater motor wasnt working and the sunroof doesnt work but this didnt bother me as i had the spares from previous rado's i have broke. The thing that was bothering me was it was on a P-plate? it was given this when it was brought over from Guernsey. I did a vehicle check on it before i started bidding and all came back ok so wasnt that bothered and the plate even has my initials in it so that was pretty cool it turns out it was a late 93 car. Any how the winning bid was £647 which i was chuffed to f##k with, it even had mot and tax. Me and a mate drove to lestershire to pick it up last Sunday and was quite supprised how tidy it was for an ebay buy, the main things that were bothering me on the way up was batter rear quarters and roof but all was straight just a few car park dings in the doors. The bloke i got it off was pretty sound he fessed up that the door handle broke on him and he knocked £20 off the price, i wasnt fussed as i had a spare and the car was much better than i expected anyway having not veiwed it before buying it. The night i won it i started to look at a few things that i wanted to mod on ebay and got a debadged grill and looked about for a leather interior as i got the car alot cheaper than expected i had some spends to do this. I looked at some rado leather but they are proper exspensive nower days so looked at other cars and found a mk1 Audi TT Grey leather interior for sale for £250 buy it now delivered. job done. I had a set of Porshe 928 wheels off my mk2 jetta i got rid of last year so the wheel situation was sorted which look 10 times better than the 17" chav rims the car came with. when we got back the rims were bolted on with the 30mm fk adaptors that i had and the debadged grill was put on. I also removed the rear wiper and bunged up the hole. pics when i first brought it back. Pics of it when i put the Porshe wheels and grill on, coilovers are next to get so no **** taking. haa haa.
