  1. Yes oem management, I have a Revo stg 2 map on my ecu. I'm making the downpipe myself. No plans with trying to chase big power, Im just going to stick with the KO3s.

  4. I should have taken more photo's of the shifter install, but I was quite busy working it all out how it was going to fit. I was going to send the wiring loom off to be converted but after reading the guide over on Club GTI I decided to give it a go myself. I say myself but a mate had a huge hand in doing it with me.   6. So I made a start pulling the old 16v motor from the car [ATTACH=CONFIG]90646[/ATTACH] with the front end removed it was easy to gain access to the old engine. [ATTACH=CONFIG]90649[/ATTACH] Loooks like I found the culprit of the car's stalling issues. [ATTACH=CONFIG]90652[/ATTACH] [ATTACH=CONFIG]90655[/ATTACH] A quick test fit before stripping out the old wiring loom.
  7. I had always been a fan of the Corrado way back when it was first brought to our shores in it's lhd guise, but I never actualy got around to buying one. Fast forward 28yrs and I find myself driving a 400 mile round trip to pick up a rather cheap and unloved 1994 2.0 16v. [ATTACH=CONFIG]90631[/ATTACH] [ATTACH=CONFIG]90634[/ATTACH] [ATTACH=CONFIG]90637[/ATTACH] My first thoughts were to keep the car as standard as possible, but I had this little demon in the back of my head shouting 20 valve turbo:cool: 2 weeks later and I find a very good low mileage engine for the princley sum of £100. [ATTACH=CONFIG]90640[/ATTACH] [ATTACH=CONFIG]90643[/ATTACH] I have a pretty good understanding of these engines and know just how potent they can be, I had already converted my old Lotus Exige using and AGU with Emerald ecu and an Impreza STI VF35 turbo.
  8. As the title says, Engine with alternator, powersteering pump, starter, all of the injection system and 02A gearbox. No wiring loom as it is being cut up for my 20v conversion, although you are welcome to whats left of it. The engine has full service history on it although high mileage. buyer welcome to inspect before purchase, I can remove the sump on request to inspect. Looking for £350 for everything no offers please. Buyer to collect please.

I'm half way through doing this 1.8t swap on my 94 2.0 16v, I'm using the AUM engine and going DBW for ease of mapping and the fact that the me7 ecu is so much better than the me3 off the agu lump. Me and a mate have almost finished making the loom, hoping to try it out at the weekend. I had a Lotus Exige that I converted to 1.8t using an AGU engine running on Emerald K6 management and an Impreza VF35 turbo, that went quite well. :)
  10. How about dividing the engines section up into the different types of engine sub forums like they have done on Club GTi? I just think it would make it easier to find stuff thatyou're looking for?

    Hello!

    Hi all, I've just stumbled upon this fab forum as I'm on the look out for a Corrado 2.0 16v, I've currently got a Clio 172 cup as my daily driver. I am no stranger to the vag world having owned MK 1, 2, 3 &4 vr6 and gti golfs. I am also the proud owner of a S2 Lotus Elise which I am currently converting to 20vt power ;). As soon as the weather picks up a little I am planning on giving the Clio a good valet and then selling on to fund my Corrado ;). Hopefully you'll all be hearing plenty more from me in the not so distant future!
