This might be a dumb question, but how do the heated mirrors work? Also I've just heard heated washes jets mentioned in a thread, are they on all C's? '94 16v 2.0l C

My spoiler stopped before it was all the way down and wouldn't work again. My sunroof also stopped working so realise it was the fuse (No. 16 15amp). When I changed the fuse all worked again. But when my spolier went down it did so very slowly and blew the fuse again. Any ideas?

This might sound like the thickest question ever, but without a C manual how do you know how much coolant/water to put in when you've drained it all out? :oops: Cheers

What benifits would this give and how much do they go for new? 2L 16v, De-cat, full stainless system, K&N panal filter cold air feed. Never had it rolling roaded though so dont know the power.

I'd say it was darker smoke, but was difficult to tell as it was night.

Coming home tonight in the dark i was giving my 16v some stick with another car following me. Due to the car behind having its headlights on, i noticed some smoke coming from my car. I've never noticed it in the daylight. Is this something that i should worry about?

thing is i've got 205/40/17 tyres, so a bit worried about lowering the psi cause thats not alot of rubber.

If you just use lowering springs (eibach in my case), is the ride stiffer that if you use lowering springs and shocks? Is the ride comfort alot better when you use both? The reason i ask is cause i'm sick of dodging pebbles on the road!!

If the timing has been advanced, would there be another sign to look for if this is the case?

When changing gear at high revs, I can quite often hear a poping noise coming from the exhaust. It wasnt till my friend was following me tht he told me he could see flames coming from my exhaust. Not massive ones but very noticable. I've got a cat back, SS sytem, and my cat was removed. I got my mixture level checked and its ok. The previous owner drilled the airbox and i covered up the whole, but tried it uncovered recently (which sounded horrible) and the exhaust stopped popping!!! (2.0L 16v) Why would this be happening.

Just a quick question, are there supposed to be 2 rear fogs, or just the 1?

Was definatly not a racing!! You can see racing puma's arches a mile off. I've got a 2.0l 16v, decat, full stainless exhaust and K&N. Not much but should have been enough to see him off!! Godskitchen? Do you go there?

Driving home tonight, i pulled up at a set of traffic lights which lead onto a dual carridge way. A little ratty 19 year old kev / townie, pulls up behind me in a bog standard looking 1.6 Puma. Being mature........i decided to nail it off and show him up. But he stayed right up my ass till i pulled over at about 95 (private road!!!!). To my horror as a pulled over with my right foot still planted, he shot off into the distance!! God knows what he had under the bonnet, but it sounded like a rally car even with a standard exhaust!!

After an earlier topic about gearboxes, I went to ordered some redline MT90. They told me that I need four bottles (4L) at £15 each. Is this the right amount, and if so is it worth £60??? How much is VW gearbox oil?
