    F**k a doo del doo.....

     

    Just removed my front offside moulding. Figured it was a hot day so it may just pull straight off.............. BIG MISTAKE....

     

    Pulled of the paint aswell.... Oh Bo****ks. Need to go to halfords and get some paint tomorrow then!!!

     

    Sorry about the rant, just a little pi**ed off....

     

    Soz about the swearing too.

     

    I'll be happier once i get it fixed

    Hi guys,

     

    I'd like Air con in my 2.0 16v and was considering taking it out of a seat toledo. Does anyone have any experience of doing anything similar and how easy do you think it may be??

     

    Any help or other suggestions much appreciated.

    You also had light grey with a red vertical stripe for a very limited time (not got a pic of them that I can find, but Yandards has got a set of these and a couple of other people on here do too) and I think they were available for only 18months sometime before 91.

    .

     

    these?

     

    Used to have these in my old Mk2 GTI 16v...... really really miss them.. Standard C ones just aren't the same.... :(

    My passenger side window will not stay up and in place if i just wind it up and the drivers side one has started to do the same.........

     

    Also the passenger side window when fully down will rattle in the door when you close it.... :( V upsetting... keep thinking it's going to smash if someone where to slam the door to hard..... even if i ask them not too.......

     

    Please help

    Hey guys,

     

    I've just been to the scrapyard to raid a couple of VW Passats and i've managed to get 2 sunroofs one of which is a genuine VW Glass roof which sits perfectly in my C....... Yeahhhhhhhh and works perfectly too.

     

    All this sunshine, it's about time i had a roof that worked :D

     

    Just thought i'd let u know..............

     

    Hope this sun keeps on coming...... :D Surf trip coming up.

    The problem is that there are too many people in the world and too many cars on the road.

     

    Quite shocking stories from some of you.

     

    A friend of mine had a similar experience, i.e. being followed after an exchange of hand signals, he eventualy pulled over onto a hard shoulder, they did the same and proceeded to shout abuse at him, kick his car etc. He got out of the car and arrested them, as he is a policeman (off duty at the time in his own car). A couple of minutes after he had explained to them that he was a copper, two patrol cars arrived and blocked their way off. Nice!

    Okay, here goes.

    I took it in for an MOT on last Friday and it failed on the Emissions test. So i took it back in on Monday (First day of new job in London aswell) for a diagnostic test, and they've told me that the Road speed sender - G68 (00281) wasn't sending a signal so it needs a new one of them and the Air mass/flow meter - G70/G19 (00520) was shorting out AND the adjustment limit mixture regulation (00587) was in effective and they've given me a price to replace the first 2 which came to the best part of £700 :shock: (£700 which i don't have considering the resent move to London) :cry: , So i've now considered selling :shock: :cry: the C, which is next to impossible without a current MOT for which i need to shell out £700 or well......................and that's where i'm stuck i just don't know what to do. Please, Plesae, Please someone help, i'm in pain just thinking about it.........
