No Have owned it for 4 years. Been daily driver. Passed MOT last Saturday. Day after alternator packed up and I replaced along with battery. Drove for 2 days then current problems started. Don't know where to look next

Evening all My 2.0 16v Corrado will not start. It turns over, but will not fire up. I have changed the dizzy cap, rotor arm and spark plugs, but nothing. Also recently changed alternator and battery. Any suggestions Thanks

Hi Ray Meet starts at 7pm. Bit of a disappointing turnout last time, but hopefully ( weather permitting ) the next meet should be Ok. Steve
-
Now then Chris The Barnsley meet is this Wednesday if you fancy a ride over. We will be there. Steve
-
The meeting at Barnsley is at the Old Post Office, Haigh, just off the M1 at junction 38. As Vag-hag says, its on the second Wednesday every month. Usually a good turnout, with a good mix of vans and cars, beetles, golfs etc ( only us in a Corrado ) Steve

Early exit for Wednesday in the Capital One cup at Rotherham. Dave Jones is not a happy man at the moment. At least we can concentrate on the league now. ( seem to say this every season )

Live a long way from Dorset, but hey Corrados . 'Liked'

Zeb911. I used to live in Hillsborough, near to Malin bridge. My parents still live down in Sheffield, in Bradfield, and my grandparents lived in Oughtibridge.
-
Well, I am with Zeb911 on this one. Supported Wednesday all my life. Used to live 2 minutes from the ground, but now live in Wakefield and don't get to many matches any more. Have to say that we may struggle again this season, but am hopeful for a mid table finish.

How old are you, and how long have you had your Corrado/Corrado's?
stevea replied to Overmind's topic in General Car Chat
I am 52 and bought my first Corrado, a 2.0l 16v, in January this year to replace my Mk3 Golf. Always loved Corrado's but never got round to owning one before. Been into VW's for many years and currently have a 1976 T2 bay which is in the garage for a full restoration, hopefully getting him back in early summer ( fingers crossed ) -
Hi Glad your loving the car...we certainly are. Would be good to drive down to Elsecar with you. Keep in touch Steve

Hi folks My name is Steve and I like in Wakefield. I have recently bought my first Corrado, a 1993 2.0l 16v. Have been on the VW scene for a few years and also own a 1976 T2 bay and a Mk3 Golf Love going to meets and shows so may bump into some of you in the future. Will be quite interested in the technical forum and may be asking stupid questions so be kind to me. Thanks Steve
