  1. I have one if you want it. Any offer not refused but you have to pay the postage mate.
  2. I done and haldex oil and filter on mine just last Wednesday night. took 20 mins to do and that was most of the time spent chatting watching oil drip out. Filter was 12 euros and oil was 20 euros. I know its near on impossible when not on a lift or in a pit.
  3. @ Lee, Yes I do mention the old 345 but that was just to further hammer home the point of my sense of loss at selling my VR6.
  4. I have my 345bhp MTM Stg III S3 since Novemeber and although its fast as fup, I'm afraid its missing a soul............yes everyone a soul. My old VR6 had a soul............................ and a heart too mind.
  5. Mine is MTM Stg 3 with 345bhp and I get 35mpg on long journeys.
  6. Just rang 3 Halfrauds here in Ireland and each are sold out, 30 euros too :(
  7. Having had BBS 301's on my old VR6 I would tell you to hold out for the real deal and be wary of those copies. They just don't look as good side by side. Keep an eye on ebay.de, that where I got mine.
  8. I'm Dave too and proud of it! lol
  9. The Previous owner fitted all of the mods. He too reckoned it understeered too until the Haldex Controller was fitted. I haven't pushed the car to tell you how much of a difference it makes to be honest.

    BBS RS 301

I have a set on my VR6 which I have more or less sold now with the wheels on them. Have to say them compliment the Corrado wonderfully! :)
  13. maybe thermostat is stuck open or they can botch up the thermostat so that its broken and put back in the housing to that the flange still fits onto the engine but in fact there is no thermostat in place.
  14. A mate has an automatic VR6 and want to convert it to manual. Is it a big job or just a gearbox and some interior trim? or am I right in thinking the ECU has to change too? Any insights are much appreciated. Thanks.
  15. do you have a link to their website maybe?
  16. @ kevHaywire Thank you for such a wonderful reply mate. I think you're right. Vicne seems to be the way to go for peace of mind. Storm did put down the Vortech charger when I speaking with him but I didn't want to mention that here. When you said "besides, you can fit the charger yourself and then bring it over for mapping to keep costs down." Can I drive the car far with standard setup with charger fitted? Is there anything I need to be aware of in terms of engine running etc?
  17. Wasn't sure if I should post this in the Supercharge VR thread but since its more about the tuner I took to creating a new thread. Mods please move if you wish. I am torn between the 2 tuners.......... :( Over the last few weeks I've been in contact with A, Stealth B, NS Racing C, Storm Developments I have to travel from Ireland to get the car properly tuned as nobody can do it here. Stealth can do all onsite, ie install and tune in 2 days but higher costs. NS Racing can supply and install in 1 day but I still gotta go see Vince for a map. (Don't like the thoughts of showing up on Vince door with the kit supplied and fitting by someone else) Storm offer best price using the Rotrex charger which seems a better charger but they reckons they need my car for 5 days! I was realy considering Storm Developments but after reading some previous posts now I'm not too sure. I spoke with the man there yesterday and he seemed to know his business on the phone. I have heard alot about Vince replacing the MAF and nobody else seems to do this. Is this a cost cutting exercise by other tuners when supercharging a VR6? What should I do guys? How far is NS Racing from Stealth anyway? Thanks Dave
  18. Could I use one of these to backup the chip from my ECU? My ECU is 021906258CP, been told its a late ECU with immobiliser. The chip is soldered to the board on it. I want to supercharge my VR6. Also wondering if I got an ECU from say an older VR6 coilpack, ie 93/94 would it have the plug slot for the ECU chip and then say use that ECU in my C. Can the older ECU be coded to my car, I have a VW mechanic with all the kit but I've been told the older Corrados do not have an immobilser. Will this cause a problem? 19. Thanks for all the comments guys. I reckon I need to get them to sit more flush to the bumper. Back to the drawing board! :)
  20. Well they stay on already at 80mph in the driving rain so i reckon 100mph is no bother.
  21. what I thought was good about the suction cup idea is that its so easy to reverse. 2 secs pop then on and 2 sec pull them off again.
  22. sure I could sell 'em but what are they worth?
