  1. :( :( :( Gutted!! Try having a look on german ebay or searching ebay for items available to the uk. I've seen some bargain priced chargers on there! Have you had a profesional have a look at your charger? You may only need half a new charger. You get bits of chargers for sale on german ebay too!
  2. Nice Corrado, good to see Top Gear have taste! First thing I did when I finished was search Autotrader for a Toyota Hilux! What a great car for the summer when I return to North Wales for a few months. Take it anywhere, forests, beaches, if it got stolen it would turn up..................................  oohh! Cheapest on autotrader was £800. 8) 8)
  3. Mods, Why dont you get a Sticky thread related to a Leeds are meet or a northen rolling road day like they had up in Scotland recently?
  4. Hello turbocorrado ,I'm from just down the road....Huddersfield! I think theres about four others on here from Leeds and a another from Hudds too! Probably more! I'd be intrested in a meet. How about a rolling road day? I dont know where the nearest one to us is though. Dubsport?? Northen Corrado forum meet/rolling road day anyone?
  5. I'm using some 8mm Lumenition leads. They seem better than my old bosch ones. I chose Lumenition over all the other makes because they make full competition ignition systems so I thought they must know what there doing. Check out your Demon Tweaks catalogue for Lumenition products.
  6. Henny on the ball as ever!! (1 meter, eh? odd!) Lucky for us that you've had so may problems with yours, lol
  7. dubster You can also get adapters from supergolfs and a company called Dub Club racing. I've seen a set of the Dub Club racing ones at inters looked very nice. Anodised blue they were, he also gives away the bolts that you need with them. Some companys qoute £200 for the adapters but then sting you on the bolts you need to atach them to your hubs!!
  8. G60Renshaw My Golf GTI G60 has the higher center bit for a syncro system, so that would make it the same as a rallye. :D From what you have said, are the corrado dashes and rallye dashes of very similar dimensions then? The reason I ask is that a corrado dash conversion now sounds quite easy if there of a similar size! I didnt notice the airbag pannel cover thing. It looked standard to me, like it was meant to be there. Well done, fooled me! Cheers
  9. Why did you get rid of the BBS? Your car looks ace with them on! Do you reckon that a TT dash would go into a Golf Mk2 as well as its gone into your corrado? Looks absoultly brilliant. How much where scrap yards quoting you for a TT dash? Shouldnt be much there carnt be to much demand. Very nice corrado! :D
  10. Corsa bits!!! Must be a scally then!
  11. Surprised I'm the first to mention one. But don't you think that a lot of people from the VW scene will be driving Audi TT's? Not sure if I'll have one, there’s to many about but there a nice car. All the people who are driving mk2 golf GTI's now are surely going to be driving Audi TT's in 10 to 15 years time. There seems to be enough of them to go round!
  12. As far as I kown thats fine. My average when warmed up is 98. If I'm stuck in traffic for a long time, stoping and starting it has riden to 112 but I think even thats nothing to worry about. Thats on a G60 dont know if it runs at the same temperatures as a 16v.
  13. The Mk 3 rear calipers are the best. Because of the improved handbrake mechanism they are less likley to seize! Go for them!!
  14. Gutted, Just when my mates after a Mk1!!! Need there classifieds!!!
  15. I've been away from the internet for a couple of mounths recently. Now that I'm back http://www.edition38.com seems to have disapeared!! Where's it gone? It was always a well maintained site!!
  16. .. I'm getting closer...........................sorry moderators! ..
  17. Stop hi jacking my post guys!   I don't mind really, that’s why I like this forum......going off on a tangent   I've got some places that stock ATS wheels now anyway. Anyone know who’s the cheapest? Talking of number of posts. When I hit 200 probably tomorrow  I should become a "Enthusiast"? Time to plan my celebrations!
  18. What model and year porsche are the front seats from? How did you get hold of the porsche printed material from? Surly not a main dealer!! BTW there amazing!! Couldn't think of any other interior that I'd rather have. Shame I carnt take em off your hands.
  19. Cheers dazzyvr6, theve got them there and I've also found them at dubmiester!
  20. Where can I buy ATS alloy wheels from in this country? Found them for sale at a german company called suspension supplies. I'm after one ATS cup, i think :?
  21. Well my Golf G60 already has the floor plan like a rallye so it should be a lot easyer and its something that I would like to consider doing in the future. When you where looking for a rallye syncro sytem and a sutiable gear box what sort of prices did you get quoted?
  22. SteveMac let me know how the CAT bypass turns out.
