    So Gutted!

Had my car running absoultly mint after some modding by g-werks and Pitstop. But I've gone and made a mess of it. I ran out of petrol yesterday and had to put shit petrol in from the nearest garage.(I walked) God know what ron it was. It ran fine but pinked (shit fuel). Put £15 of optimax in it today. Its now really hesitating past 3500 to 4500. If I turn it off it starts then wont run and stalls, it will eventualy start again and run. What a *****! I've left it to cool, so I can check the oil and water but they should be fine. Checked all the electric conections pusing them etc. Also it revs fine in in neutral. If it doesnt sort it self out tomorow. Is there somebody in my area Huddersfield who can come round and have a look. Maybe the timing needs seting again after puting such awful fuel in it?
  6. Its prober Bo that, darren! Is it finished then? Been told by someone on edition38 that they saw it a bit after inters and it had a tailgate and glass fitted. Car of the show season for 2004.....?
  7. I know why its like that. Its called a space frame and makes the car completely rigid like nascar cars. But where is it now?
  8. I'm sure everyone will remeber this car from inters. Just wondered if any body had seen it recently and if its finished?
  9. It sure will be interesting to found out my bhp at the rolling road day. Can't wait
  10. Just a post with my new engine spec and to thank Ant(banana man), darren(gman), steve(beavis) for doing a great job on my motor! Thats G-WERKS and PITSTOP DEVELOPMENTS! Ported and Polished head (TSR pack A) Fully Ported and rebuilt charger 68 mm pulley SNS chip mapped for my grey injectors(rallye injectors) High presure fuel regulator (Boch 3.5bar I think) Giro Valve (isv valve thing) Supersprint de-cat Full supersprint exhaust system (oval tailpipe) Modded standard air box boost return blanking plate mostly samco boost pipes Should mention car has big front mount intercooler as standard. Bined Boost return pipe (crazy dump valve like noise.....yeah!) Carbon canister thing Jabba sport chip Also while there had new CO pot (think thats what it was called) Nock sensor Cam belt Cam belt tensioners Head gasket Its a big change! Car is now a mint example I reckon! Body work was always okay but engine was a bit ropey but really sweet now. When I went out to the car this morning it was covered in frost and very cold. Started it up and it ran beautifully instantly, like it had been running a while already! How cool is that!!!
  11. I have a german cataloge that I picked up at GTI international which has them in stock. Its called "suspension suplies".....think they have a web site that would be worth a try. Think there the german equivalent of demon tweaks. BTW...there well nice wheels and looked really good on darrens corrado! The deeper the better!
  12. Ben remeber to pull that flute like air feed thing out of the airbox as well for improved flow!
  13. I had the Meguairs wheel cleaner that was supposed to be safe to use on any type of wheel. Think it may be one of the only products to claim this. It brought the polished outer rims of my BBS out in spots. Which took me ages to polish off, about 2 hours a wheel!! This really put me off buying anything from Meguairs again. P.S. Incase anybodys intrested I now used autoglym wheel cleaner on them with out any problem. Its great stuff! I'm now a big fan of autoglym!
  14. If you have a look in a recent PVW theres a company in there called All Smiles who did the carbon bits for the PVW Rallye. I think they do some nice header tanks and power steering tanks.
  15. Ah yeah I've just been told that it was yesterday! Doh!! Stupid me! :D
  16. I'm going to be at G-Works/Pitstopdevelopments on sunday so if theres time I'll pop along! What sort of time? Will there still be people there early evening?
  17. Sorry, I said that I had the same problem but its acctualy gone. Doh! I didn't notice. Just like what everybody has been saying, it must have stoped when I got the alternator regulator unit replaced!! Its only a cheap part and easy to replace to.
  18. The top pictures wheels look like polished outer rim deep dish porshe design 90's. I want them!!!! Where are they now???
  19. I've got exactly the same problem. I had it for ages though and nothing else seems to have developed.
  20. Well Done!! :D Thats loverly. Nice sutle colour. Why is that the first time I've seen that done to the rear lights? What lights would you loose doing that, reversing, fog? Belgain I think. Are those the mirrors darren is after? Rear bumper got a bit of mk4 golf in it? I'm a big fan of that!
  21.   And I thought I had an eye for a bargain!
  22. http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll? ... gory=28601 charger on ebay! Half a charger! http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll? ... gory=56525
  23. I like that! But he apears to have crashed it into a tree in the first picture!
  24. It could be a faulty ignition switch they tend cause odd things when they go wrong. But it does sound a lot like a dodgey immobiliser. Will it start with jump leads?
