    I'm hoping the top will fit on my mk2 bottom and accept the mk3 MAF and the IAT sensor. I only just fitted the engine last night :oops: The guy who i borrowed the engine hoist off took it back so i ended up using a plank and a trolly jack to fit it.

    I've just fitted a 2.0 8v engine in my mk2 golf. The mk3 golf airbox is miles too big. I had a corrado vr airbox on my mk2 vr so wondered if i can use a corrado 8v air box on this one. Cheers :) Heres the pics of what i have

    Mine was cracked on my non schrick vr6 so i bypassed it, i was going to get a fresh one from phatvr6 but he sold it too his sister :D I had a problem at first when i bypassed it but it was only because i had a kink in one of the pipes, i modded the pipe and it ran fine for the next 10,000 miles until i sold the car.

    An interesting read! I have been after a corrado vr box for my golf vr to give it a bit more life, looks like i'll leave it :cry:

    Did you get mt pictures Cai? Have you heard off pvw about when the feature will be? I cant wait untill the next one, hopefully i'll have sold the mk2 and be in my mk3 vr by then. Maybe even a Corrado VR if its this time next year!!
