Right, so after many many days of rebuild I finally managed to get her started again today, sat and let her heat up and tried the throttle, everything peachy. Came inside to sort out tax as been off road for months, went back out to go for a drive and now once rpm hits 1500 the engine just goes lumpy as heck!! All wires checked, HT leads fully inserted, new temp sensors in head and connected, havent touched the 3mm allen key thing, I'm outta ideas!!! :(

Finally went to start today after rebuild and found massive puddle on floor :( Simple parts enquiry, where can I find a replacement gasket for a 2.0 16v water pump housing? (between housing and block) mines a late one so pump housing has 3 pipes on back side rather than the 2 and thermostat mount like on mk2 golf

How soon do you need them? I got a pair of each and heading Derby soon(fortnight) to pick up a head so could meet out Asbourne way if thats any good?

Thanks for Thread Doc mention, sadly hes away for the weekend so I'm gonna take some time getting stud extractor tip out and then have acquired the use of a pillar drill on Sunday so fingers crossed, in the meantime theres a hell of a lot of other bits to do, I really should take photos lol

Hey, my head gasket went and I decided that it'd be a good time to refresh everything, sadly 1 of the exhaust studs decided to be stubborn and snapped off, to make things worse it did so 4mm into the head. I tried a stud extractor but the tip snapped off in place, now I feel I'm pretty screwed, any suggestions to remedy or anyone in Surrey available to fix?
