HEL braided fuel lines, Red, K-Jet fitting as new **HALF ORIGINAL PRICE** Bought these direct from HEL about 13 months ago when I got car, never checked before and ordered K-Jet, of course the Rado is KE-Jet so they dont fit injectors, was in process of moving house so they got put in a box and never returned. Slight smudge on 2 where I tried fitting but other than that they are mint and havent even had fuel through them yet. Paid about 140 for them inc postage I think, just looking to recover some of cost as my Engine is in need of overhaul and they are of no use to me, get in touch if you want to know anything and cash on collection is also fine ;) (can post to mainland UK only, If outside of this please get in touch for quote) Am in Derby this weekend (5th-7th Sept) and have with me, traavelling up the M1 so can arrange meet along route too. List Date: 8/22/2014 Location: Worcester Park, United Kingdom For more info, click here to view the original listing: HEL braided fuel lines, Red, K-Jet fitting as new **HALF ORIGINAL PRICE** -------------------------------------- SOLD -------------------------------------- Mobile friendly version: HEL braided fuel lines, Red, K-Jet fitting as new **HALF ORIGINAL PRICE** Go Mobile: Download the free Panjo iOS app now!

Cheers guys, managed to get under today and all lines are ok, had to replace one section as it had been crushed by exhaust (note to self, check ALL lines when lowering) Ended up using the Laser kit from Halfords and really pleased with it, great value at 37 quid Only thing that has emerged is that previous owner painted the front calipers and so bleed nipples are stuck in place, but thats a job for tomorrow now :D
-
So driving home the other night and my brakes went completely soft, I checked it out asap and one of my lines has gone, right above the pillow box on exhaust (smell was delightful). So, I have a flaring kit and line but mine doesn't bubble flare, has anyone got any tool recommendations for the job please? Secondly, before I get under the car would I probably be able to just fit a bridging section or would full replacement by advisable? Cheers ;D

Although, if easier I'll take discs and brakes too
-
Dont need discs, basically one of my wheels came off while driving (locking wheelnuts on order) and has stuffed the bearing and threads so figured may aswell do both, axles through to thread plates really

Where abouts are you? Im after front bumper, how much for it? -
So first it was dizzy slip, then came the top hose rupture followed by water pump failure and finally timing issues again. All seemed peachy and with new KR cam fitted I started to make my way to Birmingham to celebrate new year with friends, after about 60 miles of steady motorway driving I decided to make my way past a couple of centre laners only to find that reaching 73* (ish) mph I got some shudder through steering, decided it could be something new like a bearing so backed off and steadily made way back up to speed only to have same happen again. I pulled off at next junction (arse end of nowhere!) and at end of slip car stalled, I restarted and went to pull away with car now sounding very wrong and really struggling. Limped to pub (which was closed) car park and popped bonnet. Vibration had shook loose the dizzy which I thought was the problem so restarted and oh sweet christ!!! Decided at that point to call AA out, he arrived after an hour and we went through timing sequence and confirmed perfect (so glad as first time I've set myself) and got me to turn over, imediately shouted to stop. Said I've got zero compression and possibly dropped a valve. Now, my question is, are there any collets or the like to prevent a valve falling in completely or am I looking at a lot of work? I'm planning to strip back and remove head on Saturday but would appreciate any heads up on what to look for (I have a spare head luckily as AA bloke said that its probs stuffed)

First mod I did after buying my £26 K&N panel(BARGAIN!!), sounds great and improves pick up without killing the economy (that comes later) :)
-
Well the throttle body is flowed and inlets been ported so someone spent some money on it, yet they never switched the cams! (and yeah, 6 in total stretched so all changed)
-
15Nm is all, dialled it down to 12 to be safe and still went, only on exhaust side though, inlet seem solid.
-
Numbers on side of both heads match so will look further into it before finalising, got stud out easy enough and replaced, then just to be a ****er another sheered so I'm going to replace the lot, thanks for info though ;D
-
So I was swapping my 9a cams out for the KR ones I've had sitting round for a while, everything was going great and went in a dream, then I was torqueing up the cap nuts and this happened Now, I have an ABF head that a friend gave me (minus cams)and was wondering (as dont have time/money right now to get it skimmed) Would it be better to use it as is (any benefits of ABF head over 9a?)or would it be better trying to remove existing broken stud and replacing it with one from the ABF head?

Oh wait, chefg60 missed a ? Possibly

And if in Cannock I'll take it and can pop over tonight/tomorrow if Dox can't make it
