1. **UPDATED** Sadly, I am selling my metallic blackberry VR6. Life has changed a lot for me in the last couple of years and I have new priorities now which, unfortunately, mean it's no longer feasible for me to keep my Corrado. I've owned her since 2005. She was my daily runner until 2011 when 3 yrs of pay freezes etc. etc. forced me to SORN her. And there she sat until 2018 when I finally started working to get her back on the road. Cue a bit of a major hiccup in the form of an enforced relocation and Corona Virus, but now finally, as of Oct 2020, and roughly £2,200 later, she is running, driving, serviced and MOT'd again. I'll put as much detail as I can think of below, but please feel free to contact and ask questions, get more photos, whatever you like. 1994, M reg VR6 in Metallic Blackberry MOT until Oct 2022 New service, Oct 2021 Mileage: 111,200 £6,000 £5,700 ono Good Stuff: Starts first time, every time Runs lovely - brand new MAS and reconditioned ISV this October Koni coilover adjustable suspension Lupo windscreen wiper conversion Green air filter Spoiler works, goes up at 60mph Still has original speedlines Still has original first aid kit - unopened! Headliner not sagging It's the best colour Less-good stuff: Some rust coming on driver-side front wheel arch Paint showing it's age a bit Headliner is grey and could do with a shampoo Driver-side headlight cracked - I have bought a replacement unit, I just can't shift the screws to replace it (combination lack of decent tools and strength!) Passenger-side headlight has a stone chip Driver's seat bolster fabric is a bit worn - yes, this means she has a fabric interior Trip computer works when it wants to, not when you want it to Passenger electric window won't open. You can hear the relay ping, but it doesn't move. The Unknown Stuff: I have not tried the sunroof. Just in case. Overall she's showing some signs of her age and needs some more in-depth TLC, but she is a good, honest little motor. I think she runs better now than she did in 2011! I'm not a mechanic, but I think most of what needs doing now is more cosmetic. I still love driving her, she makes the best noise and still puts a massive smile on my face, but it's time she goes to an enthusiast who has the time and energy to put into her. She is a great start for someone looking for a Corrado to make their own and I would love to see her have a new lease of life with someone who will enjoy owning her as much as, or hopefully even more than, me. She's based near Cardiff. Thank you for looking. And if you have a Corrado already, please do feel free to tell any friends who are jealous of your Rado 😉
2. Corrado 1.8 16V KR Tornado Red for sale. Photo Gallery A fair bit of work done over the past two years to get her on road and running well. Will want a loving home to take her from good to great! Work done since owning her New head, head gasket, cam chain and timing belt (done by Volkspeed in Ashtead http://www.volkspeed.com/) reconditioned head by Rox Cox engineering in Reading (skimmed, acid dipped etc). Oil pump and oil cooler done at the same time. 3 out of 4 brake calipers replaced, all 4 brake disks, pads and rear bearings Lupo GTI windscreen wipers upgrade (props to the this forum for all the suggestion) Heater Matrix and seal around the air intake under the bonnet (HUGE props to this forum for the how to) Tuned by Rox Cox Engineering in Reading Wheel camper and alignment redone (the camber was awful when I got her) General smaller service bits in the engine and all the filters replaced... She is in good shape after having not had good attention from the previous owner. Includes the original alloys but they will need reconditioning before being put on her. Looks like some coil overs were fitted previously, but have no specific info on them, dont think they are anything special. MOT is good til Nov this year. Advisories are: Windscreen damaged but not adversely affecting drivers view Fuel pipe/s corroded Offside Front (Top mount has slight play) Power steering component has slight seepage from a component Current mileage 138,698. Was hoping to give her some more love and take her driving but a turn in health has meant not been able to put in the effort as I would like and that may be the case moving forward so looking for a good home. Looking for £4500 ono Will do my best to answer any questions in this thread, PM me for contact details to arrange viewing/test drive. Located in Camberley Surrey GU16 post code area.
3. Corrado VR6 in exceptional condition in Aqua blue with grey/charcoal cloth interior. Full VW service history (stamped book and receipts)from new until 2011 from which the car has only done 6000 miles since, the car has covered now 179k. Worth mentioning that the service history is extensive and I have a folder full or receipts. In 2011 went to the famous Stealth racing and had cylinder head overhaul and cam chains done at 168000 with front suspension o/haul new wishbones, springs, shocks, track rods etc. The speedline wheels are as new in flawless condition including Toyo Proxes tyres. The interior is in excellent condition with no holes or splits with bolsters in perfect condition. The car was lowered earlier this year with new springs/shocks,top mounts, bump stops and dust covers. New rear beam bushes and rear brake pipes fitted as well. New stainless steal exhaust. K&n filter fitted but I do have the original air box which will go with the car. Mechanically the car runs perfect. No issues. No electrical issues. The only thing that needs to be sorted is the passenger door handle which doesn’t open from the outside. Includes the original book pack, first aid kit, warning triangle and tool kit. Sunroof works (although temperamental) and spoiler lifts as it should, Cat1 total closure alarm with two fobs and two keys. DAB / Spotify connect head unit just fitted. All MOT's from new to present and only 7 owners. The car is in truly nice condition. There is a very small area of bubbling on the boot and the rear bumper has a very minor scuff which is hardly noticeable. For more details and pics call *Mod edit- number removed*....struggling to upload images from my mac and phone! Price is £5900
4. The time has come to get rid of my 94 valver. The car has not moved for 2 years but is in decent nick. It's a tale of woe. A few weeks after it passed its last MOT (and I had spent a tidy sum sorting out a cold idling problem) I removed the flat battery. When I finally got round to charging the battery and putting it back in the car, the near side bonnet catch had seized up. Not needing a car from one week to the next, the weeks turned into months and it sat in the car park while I didn't get round to sorting it out. Now it's got to go or I'll have to scrap it. I'll let it go FOR FREE to a good home. What's good? - 88k on the clock (11k of them mine) - New MOT, drove well and everything was running well before the unplanned SORN (including spoiler, sunroof, windows) - unmodified - Dragon Green bodywork is in good condition except for some rust on the driver's door (see below) and a couple of minor dents and scrapes - black fabric interior is damp but otherwise in good condition. Valet it and keep it in a warm garage for a couple of weeks and I think it'll be fine What's bad? - bonnet seized shut (one side only) and no battery - several patches of bubbly rust along the bottom edge of the driver's door, about 5-10cm high - stereo (Sony CD/MP3) only works intermittently - a loose connection somewhere I think. - immobiliser was permanently disconnected due to a fault that the garage couldn't diagnose (alarm and central locking were still fine) - damp patch behind the passenger seat has appeared in the last few weeks Because of the damp I'll give preference to someone with a nice warm garage and lots of experience sorting out old cars (bonus points if they're rados). You'll need to make arrangements to have it towed from Westcombe Park in SE London. If you're interested or have any queries, reply here or PM me ([email protected]).

8. SOLD SOLD SOLD FOR £3500 SOLD SOLD SOLD Corrado VR6 Manual in Black with original black leather interior (heated front seats) and in UNMODIFIED, excellent condition for its age. Just had £2200 spent on bodywork, including new rust free, powder coated Cross Member (ie: Radiator Support), Bumper Supports front and rear, Window Scrapers, rust cut out wherever it has presented itself and genuine German metal welded in - so the car is now nice and solid and ready to be taken to the next level by its new owner. Lots and lots of vehicle history dating from 1996 to present. 2 keepers registered on logbook from new, and all have looked after this car as illustrated by the service history and general demeanour. First owner kept the car for 15 years. Second owner (present owner) ever since. The Corrado has 11 months MOT, and comes on excellent SpeedLine rims. Going a bit deeper.... Good Stuff: Headlights and fog lights are clean, only 1 cracked foglamp. Body work is very straight with no dents, scratches, scuffs or rust - panels all lined up very nicely as they should be engine bay very clean. Battery has been replaced. Strong, unmodified VR6 with no rattles Phenomenal power through the gears and that magnificent VR6 roar Stainless exhaust Recent brakes and suspension all round 2 genuine VW keys Thatcham alarm system with 2 remote fobs, blue LED warning winker Full black leather interior with Heated front seats Sunroof opens on TILT Genuine Speedline Alloys in Excellent condition Proven daily driver but never used in winter Redex fuel treatment to keep system clean and maintain Bhp Lots of vehicle history only 2 former keepers Unmodified and unmolested original vehicle Sony Face-Off stereo with Aux input Full First Aid kit in Rear armrest Uncut / Undamaged Boot Tidy Next Level Improvements: Headlining getting a bit baggy in places - could do with re-fixing or renewing Fan sometimes sticks on Rear Spoiler does not budge Sunroof opens on TILT and has been open on SLIDE - but I dont use SLIDE MOT advisory on all 4 tyres. So, nothing major or majorly expensive. Nothing to stop the fun commencing with immediate effect. This is a very clean example of a VR6 corrado, being the top variant of the model for up and coming classics, and would be a great option for someone who likes both power, luxury and real character when driving. This particular Corrado has been intercepted for futureprooofing whilst in good order and is on the up, and the new owner will be likely to be fellow enthusiast who is prepared himself to throw the money down to take this car to the next level; someone to whom it is important that this raw, powerful, resilient and unfussy, 'real drivers', 'real car' is encouraged to survive in this sterile, faceless world. Notes For The Uninitiated; The Volkswagen Corrado VR6 is a powerful 2.9Litre, 6 cylinder, 192bhp Grand Tourer that is capable of running rings round most things, and giving a rare and unique driving experience that modern cars just cannot even dream of. Many would say it is The most beautiful VW design, and here in the slickest, timeless colour with the best interior spec - this car is so outrageously cool it finds fans and turns heads wherever it goes. Those who know what it is need no explanation - and for those who dont the very stance and presence of this car quickly provides its own. Reluctant sale, still a great runner and bodywork is sound. Supercharger was OVH by John Mitchell Racing approx 4 years ago, a lot of other work done at the time which unfortunately I’ve lost the receipt for! 229k on the clock, I’m looking for £3,450. Note:- Recorded as Cat - C. This was my fault due to accident in 1999. The damage was repaired by VW specialist at the time and has driven absolutely fine since. I can let you know full details if interested. Drop me a line if you’d like to know further. Kind regards, Gav
10. Hello All, Reluctantlty putting the Storm up for sale…. mileage is arround 97,000miles, the car is MOT’d untill 9th June 2019 (car flew threw last few with no advisories). Work to date: - Just had a major service - oil filter ,fuel filter , air filter, plugs, leads etc - New top mounts plus bearings fitted all round - Roof lining retrimmed - Alloys remanufactured by Pristine in Woburn - Tyres are excellent - Re-trimmed OEM gear knob - New rad flange - New outer sunroof seal - New Aerial + base - Uniroyal Rainport 3 all round with approx 6mm tread The car is pretty much stock (still has the orginal tools, first aid, warning triangle and OEM mats) the only aftermarket items are: - Koni struts & H&R springs (not coilovers) - Alpine head unit + alpline OEM fit speakers - Toad CAT 1 Alarm (2 x alarm fobs + keys present) The car has stack of paperwork with it, along with the original leather bound wallet with all the manuals and service book. The bad points….the sunroof does not work, the car was resparyed 4 years ago I believe, there are a couple of bits that are not quite right.. Any questions please ask....ps the bonnet is open in the pics below...it does shut :), in my haste to take pics for the agreed value I forgot to close it + when its in the garage it's usually on charge
11. My VR6 turned out to be a Category C when I listed it on Autotrader. This came as a total surprise as I had never been given any reason to suspect that the car was damaged repaired.(A bit like finding out that your wife/girlfriend of many years standing has a criminal record from before you met) The fact that it has passed 14 MOTs since what ever happened must mean something. Generally in good condition for its age, full respray in May 2014 including inside boot, door reveals and under bonnet. A new windscreen was fitted in 2017.The car was SORN in June last year when the MOT was done and a recon ABS pump was fitted.. Present mileage is 169K and it still performs well. Although there is only limited service history servicing has been done by a family member who is a VW Mechanic. The car is lowered on GAZ fully adjustable coilovers and has a set of nearly new Uniroyal Rain Sports tyres on 16” two part BBS wheels, which are in need of a refurb. In January last year a new stainless exhaust and cat was fitted by Longlife exhausts and comes with a transferable guarantee, it also has a heat wrapped stainless steel 6 branch exhaust manifold It has a full black leather interior in reasonable condition other than a small tear in the drivers backrest bolster, the seat bolster has not collapsed. The sunroof works both tilt and slide and the spoiler also works using the internal dashboard switch but not the speed sensor which I believe was disabled by a previous owner. The car comes with an additional set of the original 15” wheels with legal tread. The radio has been replaced by a Pure DAB unit with an internal aerial. The car is situated in Powys on the Shropshire border. I live on a large private estate and although the Car is SORN it can be demonstrated on a speed restricted private drive. I am not very computer literate and I have struggled to upload photos can email if required Just remembered, new coil pack 3 weeks ago.
12. £2500 ono 145000 miles,MOT exp.Oct.2019,good runner, located near Barnstaple,North Devon. Owned for the last 15 years, loved every mile of it. Reliably used regularly during that time and given it 2 resprays, a stainless Power-Flow exhaust from a 4 into 1 manifold, back to original suspension & close to original wheels, new heater matrix, new recent cam-belt. Comes with a few spares including rear bumper, nearside wing, sun-roof parts. :tumbleweed: North Devon may seem a long way for some, so I prepared to immediately and personally deliver as far north as Birmingham following a successful sale, (not just for a viewing). Yes it's that reliable! :smug:
13. Custom plate L3 WVR (can read Low vr) 3 owners 118k miles (going up) Brief history I bought it off an enthusiast who took a no expense spared approach was a regular at edition 38 (owned it since 2006) ...took it off road for a turbo conversion that basically he never managed to finish and the car sat in his barn. I bought it approx. 4 years ago and afterstoring for around a year did a conversion to a low compression Supercharged VR6. Had some problems on the way (as usual!) but ironed everything out - the car is now a very capable daily or weekend car that runs 260 bhp with sensible fuel consumption. Ive built the car purposely to drive like a VR6 with additional power....for exampke a vr6 turbo changing the character of the car massively. It actually drives with a very linear power delivery almost like a much more powerful g60 in my opinion! Stealth Racing custom remap (£475) Professional Engine / charger conversion with receipt (£2500 +) Just had 12 months mot Wipers and lights are excellent...in pro aftermarket fogs Carbon rear spoiler High quality respray with smoothed bits (this was done years ago so usual bits and pieces here and there but NO corrosion) Running Kw coilovers Image 17" genuine 3 piece split rims with spacers (£2500 new) - could do with touching up (or possible Schmidt Th lines as pictured in 2 photos) Black leather interior Rare hella leather steering wheel (or original) £6000 ONO Cash on collection

Rare example - v minor paint chips on n/s front wing and leather front seats slightly worn. Minor rust on n/s foot sill. Working snrf and rear spoiler. Full MOT and detailed service history since purchasing the car in 2001. Recently fully serviced by VW specialist. Clean bill of health from 2 local mechanics. Since purchase I have replaced ABS, shocks and clutch. New tyres, brake discs and pads fitted. Any minor advisories dealt with since May 2018 MOT. Kenwood KDC-BT92SD stereo with bluetooth calling, Genesis profile 4 amp and Alpine SXE-69C2 280w speakers built into rear shelf. Current MOT expires end of April 2019. £5250 firm. Car is in South Somerset, near Yeovil.
15. I've had this car for nearly 12 years and have taken it from Standard, to what I'd say was one of the best Corrado's in the country. Full spec below but basically it's a VRT with LSD, Traction Control, Big brakes etc. No expense was spared in this build and I have a folder full of a scary amount of receipts to prove it! Although I still love it, it's sat on my parents driveway for the last few years, getting driven up and down the road on a monthly basis, but it really is time I moved on and let it go to a new home. Specs are as follows; M Reg Aqua Blue Pearl Corrado VR6 Currently SORN 160k 380Bhp, 375 lb/ft Exterior Paint is pretty good for a 24 yr old car, but does need some polishing work + the usual small dents and scrapes to be expected. Clear Oval repeater 50mm Spliter Red film tinted Lights Lupo Wipers Engine bay Stealth Racing Stage 1+ Turbo conversion: T60/1 Turbo with Garrett internals,FMIC, chrome pipework, manual adjustable Forge recirc valve, later CP ecu and 4" MAF housing. Rebuilt VR engine fitted approx 10k ago. 8.5:1 Headspacer, Autotech 262 cams, ARP Head and Rod bolts, Bosch Green top Injectors All new engine sensors, thermo housing etc Dubpower Ht leads Complete Custom 2.5 inch Stainless exhaust system built at Stealth, no cat is fitted, doesn't sound too boomy at all.New rubber hangers fitted Vibratechnics Rear Engine and Gearbox mount, BlackForestIndustries Front Mount. Holds everything steady with no excess vibration from cold. Wallbro in tank fuel pump 13 row Mocal Oil cooler, new standard heat exchanger and pipes with longer bolt New Genuine Radiator + elbow (one of the last left of each) Uprated Headlight Loom + Osram Nightbreaker Bulbs Drivetrain Racelogic Traction Control (with Launch Control) Really helps get the power down and eliminates wheelspin very subtly. Fixed Steering column with the last fixed cowling available! New wheel bearings front and rear,r32 wishbone bushes, Ball joints, Track Rod ends, Subframe bushes,Powerflex rear axle bushes Gearbox rebuilt by Riccardo in Leamington (they make the gearbox for Mclaren Mp12-4cs) and a Wavetrac LSD was fitted, new seals and bearings where needed. Lightened and balanced Flywheel New Helix clutch with heavy duty release arm Audi S3 shift tower, TTweight and cables, mounted into OE Polo housing. Fits perfectly and gearshift is as good as a modern car. Suspension/Brakes 17x7.5" Genuine BBS RC 323 alloys with Kumho KU tyres. Arguably one of the best wheels on a Corrado 10mm H&R hubcentric spacers front and rear Weitec Hicon GT height adjustable coil overs. Front: Porsche Boxster Brembo front callipers with standard VAG 312mm discs, Ferodo DS2500 pads. Pedal feel is really good and stopping power is great! Rear: MKIV Golf rear Callipers with standard discs and Pagid pads Goodridge raided front and rear lines Weitec rear ARB Interior Recondtioned Standard Cream leather seats +doorcards Black A,B & C pillars Headunit with rear aux in Panasonic speakers and tweeters 320mm Momo Race steering wheel DDI backlit dials and Reverse LCD Red LEDs in switches New Headlight switch New Window rollers Chrome door pulls and pins Silent coat sound deadening in doors pods, rears also filled with bubble wrap. Doors close with a nice thud. EL Sheet Backlit heater controls red/blue colouring Audi S-line Gearknob Bad points: Wheels could do with a refurb Needs 4x new tyres Heater control direction knob is broken, currently set on windscreen/face (may also fix myself) Paint bubbles under inner arches Small coolant hose leak The car 'did' start and drive fine up to about 30mph, but has since cut out and won't start. I just don't have the time/will to look into it, and it's sad to see it sit there for another summer. Price – £6500 takes it away. Quick video of it running Thanks, Andrew
16. Corrado vr6 turbo for sale, I’ve had this car nearly over 10 years now it’s been a good car but in recent years it’s just been sitting on my driveway so the time has come to sell it. The car is SORN and has been off the road about 5-6 years but I have been starting it on/off every month or so in that time. It runs, all the old fuel has been drained and it’s got a new fuel filter, as well as a brand new crank sensor. The bigger problem with this car is the body work might look ok in the pictures, but it’s an old car it has nicks, dents, scratches really could do with a session with ChipsAway. The car is using the standard ECU run’s like any other vr6, and comes with red tops separate if you want to put it in boost. Here’s a vid when it was running in boost I am the third owner it comes with Part Service History, Documents and all receipts are available. Engine Standard engine put out 187BHP &197torque (dyno proof) At 6psi Estimated anywhere from 260 to 320BHP VR6 - 110,600 Mileage Chains, Head Gasket and Water pump changed by previous owner at 60k-90k Stock Block 2.9ABV Coil Pack Custom Inlet manifold Custom Exhaust manifold T3/T4 Turbo inlet 50./84 outlet (early spoon) Forge Dump Valve 38mm External Wastegate (6 PSI) Miltek Exhaust System 2.25" (de-cat pipe) Front mounted Intercooler fitted with custom inlet piping 2.5" all round Uprated Walbro 255 (GS340) intank fuel pump Neuspeed VR6 160 Degree Thermostat. I’ve tried to be honest with everything that I am aware off, the leather interior is in good condition along with the mechanicals this car during the years has been great to own, just the body work needs addressing and the turbo mapping. Reason for selling Time for a change I’ve had the car for 12 years along time and I don’t really use it anymore also I’ve been out of work for a while now and can’t afford to run it. Price – Make me an offer (not looking for part-exchange thanks) Post/PM me if you have any questions Call to arrange viewing 07424756691 Thanks for looking Anthony Pictures
17. 1995 Volkswagen Corrado 2.0 16 valve. Milage: 211934 LC6U classic green pearl. MOT: April 2019 Stacks of paperwork for it. Owned for for 11 years. Well looked after, been my pride and joy for many many years. Usual body work for a car if it’s age, if not a little bit better than expected. Interior is mint, spoiler works on button and at 50mph as it should. Drivers bolster has been replaced. Powerflow cat back exhaust, Koni top adjustable shocks, Been a daily since ownership, never let me down. Bad points. Clutch is slipping. High mileage (intended to do an engine swap) Sun roof doesn’t work, typical corrado. Knock on front from spring, again have spares. Leak in radiator, new one included in sale. Only selling due to purchasing another economical car and 3 cars is too many. Other than mentioned an all round good car, becoming rare, viewing welcome anytime after half 5 during week. – located in king’s lynn, Norfolk. **Number plate will be coming off and a new one assigned to the vehicle via DVLA, this will all be sorted before sale. 18. All Orginal Corrado vr6 for sale. I bought the car last year after a long search for an original one. the car had been untouched and unused for a long time. with 1 careful owner who passed away and left that car as an inheritance to his nephew who did not want it. since buying it, it has had full service, brakes updated with beaded hoses, new ISV, alloys refurbished with new tyres, fresh mot and clifford cat 1 alarm. all things are working and have been checked over by local VAG specialist. After driving it this summer, I have realised that it's not for me. as simple as that. so I am after someone who would love and cherish this car in the way it deserves. the car is in much-wanted ice violet. there are few stone chips on the bonnet nothing alarming and small dent in the crease of the driver door only noticeable if you stand back. the interior is black and purple cloth and is in immaculate condition with no rips tears or marks. 5.5k or possible swap for T5.
19. It is with regret that I am selling my Corrado Storm that I have owned since 2009 (2 owners prior to me), it has been sat on my drive since the arrival of my son 2 years ago and I just don’t have the time to do what I want to do to it and give it the care it deserves so I would like it to go to someone who can. I had planned to get it back on the road this summer but bought a T5 and have been converting that into a camper for the family instead. I used it daily for 6.5 years and then bought a second car when we were expecting so the corrado became my weekend car which I had always wanted for it and it would give me the time to complete and carry out the jobs I wanted. This just hasn’t happened. MOT ran out June 2016 and it hasn’t been on the road since, but it has been regularly started and warmed up and moved about on the drive and the private road that I live on. The battery is kept in the garage hooked up to a conditioner but it is quite a new one aswell. As there is no MOT this will have to be collected on a trailer and cannot be test driven but can be started and driven onto the trailer – I do not have the time to get it MOT’d. I had no concerns about it passing its next MOT and I think that all it will need is the brake discs either skimming or replacing due to it not being driven for so long. The tyres are not cracked but it might be worth replacing them aswell. Plus a service with some fresh oil would be advisable. Exterior -All bar the roof and tailgate were resprayed by previous owner, I would describe the bodywork as in need of some TLC though, some paint bubbles in the usual places plus the leading edge of the bonnet is quite bad from untreated stonechips and driving daily through winters. My plan was to get a carbon bonnet and then get it resprayed again. -Although there are some rust bubbles, the bodywork is solid and underneath is very clean with the original stonechip protection still in place. -Mostly unmodified, 90mm splitter and all red rears with LED indicators (I think I still have the original lights too). -Currently has a black grill fitted but I also have the colour coded original (I just prefer the black one). -Spoiler and sunroof work as normal. Chassis -17”x8.0J Compomotive MO5 alloys in bright silver from the forum group buy. -FK Konigsport coilovers -Eibach ARB’s -Trimsport rear upper strut brace -323mm front brakes with Porsche Brembo callipers (braided hoses) -280mm rear brakes with mk4 golf callipers (braided hoses) Engine -123k, timing chains and clutch replaced by DG at ~80k -Schrick intake manifold -Carbonio/K&N induction kit -Mocal oil cooler with thermostatic sandwich plate -Slimline radiator fans – new radiator was fitted but due to it not being a genuine item it leaks slightly from the elbow, I have a full alloy motorsport radiator ready to fit with welded elbow. -Samco coolant hoses (black) -Magnecor HT leads -DG racing cams and remap -Custom s/s sports cat, Jetex non-resonated s/s cat back system Interior -Half leather Euro spec electric Recaro seats (front & rear) in great condition, genuine loom but not got round to installing it fully. -Headlining and pillars retrimmed in black alcantara other items painted/dyed/retrimmed to match -Pioneer double din satnav stereo (ahstray removed) with 6 channel amp, sub and uprated speakers -Backlit speedo dials and heater controls, all green lights now red -Short shift kit and Forge alloy gearknob -Mk4 golf anniversary (red stitching) handbrake -Aston Martin steering wheel retrimmed in leather and alcantara with red stitching and VW badge -Sound deadened and waxoyled in all of the cavities at the same time. -Interior is an unfinished project, I had started tidying up all of the wiring and making all of the extras as oem as possible. The plan was to have the seat centres retrimmed in alcantara, also I have retrimmed one rear door card lower section in alcantara but the other 3 remain in full leather. I will supply all of the alcantara that I have so that these jobs can be finished in matching material. The handbrake surround needs tidying up where I cut it for the golf item-I had planned to recover with alcantara. I'm looking for £4k ovno, I think this is a fair price given the value of individual parts and taking into consideration the condition and fact that it has no MOT. Any questions or enquiries message me and I'll get back to you asap. At the moment I do not want to split any items but depending on interest levels I may be willing to sell parts on an exchange basis and cash my way.
20. Hi all Time to sell my first ever Corrado which I've owned since 1999. Short description is that it has not been in use for the past 5 years and has been sat on a driveway SORN getting old...It is now ready to be a project car or to be stripped down for parts, sadly I don't have the time to do either. As you can see from the pictures it requires a good clean and a bit of work to get it on the road again. When it was last started a year ago it fired up and I was able to move it but other than to maneuver it for transport the car needs sorting before driving on the road. Given the condition of the car I'm open to offers for it. Any questions please ask! 21. NOW SOLD PLEASE LOCK After careful consideration I've decided to drop the asking price from £6000 to £5000 (no offers). The car is in great condition and I'm only dropping the price due to concerns over the insurance classification. Any inspection welcome, I'm happy to keep her if she doesn't go at this price. The car is rust free and all electrics work. After 5 (mostly) blissful years of ownership, the recent arrival of another tiny person and new house purchase mean I no longer have the time or love to give to my Corrado. This is my second corrado and 5th VR6 and easily my favourite of them all. I purchased this Corrado from the MD at Heaton Park Coachworks in Newcastle following restoration and full glass and seal out respray. The car was brought in with light panel damage following a collision with a bollard due to a failed handbrake. I was never worried about the classification as the condition and driveability of the car were so good and the workmanship of the coachworks excellent. I guess that should be expected as it was the MD's personal car. After doing a bit of research I've discovered it was classified as a Cat C in 2010 and whilst I appreciate there is a stigma involved with this I beleive it is still an excellent example and deserves my asking price below . . .I do however appreciate that the history will put a lot of buyers off and will therefore be open to reasonable offers. I really believe it needs to be seen and driven to be appreciated fully. The car was completely standard when I purchased it and I've only carried out minor modifications which I feel enhance the car but they can easily be reverted to original spec. KW V1 Coilovers Milltek Classic cat-back SS exhaust Lupo GTI Wiper conversion BMC CDA intake JVC Bluetooth head unit Magnecor leads (blue) Re-trim of steering wheel, hand-brake handle, gear-knob and gaiter Corrado embroidered mats Recently refurb'd BBS RX 16" currently fitted (car will come on refurb'd speedlines and nearly new Kumho ecsta sports all round). I'm sure there is more but that's off the top of my head. The car has covered 99400 miles. There will be several extra and spare parts supplied including the following. Sprinters under bonnet sound proofing kit Uprated headlight wiring loom (forum member) Thermostat Spare grille Second hand door aperture seals Original airbox OE HT Leads Again, there's probably a few other bits. There hasn't been any head work carried out to my knowledge, I enquired about a top end rebuild last service for peace of mind but was advised against it as the engine runs, sounds and pulls well with no signs of loose chain tensioners etc. I've tried to add a load of photo's below so hopefully they've worked out. The price I've put on the car on Car and Classic is now:- £5000 As mentioned prior, I believe the condition of this car warrants the price. Please message me for more info or specific/further pictures. Regards, Matt
