cheesy 0 Posted May 22, 2003 Yep its a dash out job, i had mine replaced cos i had a pssenger footwell of water. when the garage did it they didn't think it was the matrix but replaced it cos i had given them it to do but said it looked like the seal to the bulkhead was causing it as this had perrished Quote Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
tobes49 0 Posted May 27, 2003 Did my 1991 G60 without taking the dash out. There is a metal bracket thats in the way but if you look under the dash it bolts in. Not sure about the later dash type but managed it on mine. Quote Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
Kevin Bacon 5 Posted May 27, 2003 When I had my dash apart today repairing the heater cables, it looked like you could change the matrix without taking the entire dash out.
