marcus 0 Posted October 11, 2004 Does this sound familiar to anyone, closing it struggles a bit and i have to give it a helping hand, it is well lubed up and opens quite well, is this a sign of adjusting something or does a replacement of something sound likeley? Rawhide 0 Posted October 11, 2004 Strip it and grease it well!!! then grease it some more! Do it now or regret the hastle of a rebuild! Either that or your motor is on the way out.
Mike Edwards 0 Posted October 11, 2004 Is it only when closing from the slide position, or tilt as well? If the former, stop using it NOW. You WILL damage the motor/snap a cable/scratch the roof panel. Budget £75 and a full afternoon to take the roof out and replace the rearmost part of the sliding mechanisms. Kevin Bacon 5 Posted October 11, 2004 Mike, do you work for Rockwell International? What you don't know about sunrooves isn't worth knowing  I'll be picking your brains soon about synchronising mine after it's rebuild
