Furkz 0 Posted October 12, 2004 whats the bill jus curious ....actually very curious now counting my pennies lol
gibber 0 Posted October 12, 2004 Dont quote me but I think the cap, panel and solenoid etc should be about 250 form Venom ( I didnt pay that much tho) And it cost me about an extra £250 to have fitted coz they was already spraying the sides. So about £500 for a friggin filler cap, it does look OEM tho, even wen opened! HAHA and theres me saying £700 for Lambo doors was expencive
Red=Fast 0 Posted October 12, 2004 i was curious, who makes the dual exhaust set up for the corrado? i have seen it on a few cars...any actual gains from it or is it just for show? what modifications do you need to do under the car for that setup to work? Furkz 0 Posted October 12, 2004 gibber_2k, fecking hell,,, but its a wicked touch man
gibber 0 Posted October 12, 2004 BlackOut16v, me and my local exhaust company made that one, the only mods I needed to do was weld on a hanger, and get another bumper to cut out the mold for the exit. I got the tail pipes from.....yes u guessed it.... Venom motorsport! As for gains, wen we made it, we did a decat pipe, removed the suitcase silencer and is the another box in there if there is that went as well and we just modded the stock backbox. So I felt it wen I drove away.
gibber 0 Posted October 12, 2004 FurkiG60, Ive been tempted to body colour it but unsure, it would look a bit like an Irondry coupe

VR6 0 Posted October 12, 2004 A lot of work is obvious and I like a lot of the attention to detail. Sorry to say it, but I *hate* the front end - looks wrong IMHO. If you're happy with it though, that's all that counts. Good job :)
STORM 2 0 Posted November 10, 2004 I can only echo the comments referring to the amount of effort and expense that must have gone into the car, but judging by your opening comments, you are aware that this forum is generally quite conservative when it comes to body mods. I would agree ( without being nasty) that maybe you've gone a tad overboard on the exterior aspect of things...specifically the front and back look like they've crashed through a demon tweeks warehouse and come out the other end with bits stuck to it......but I can't fault your mechanical changes and the interior....well is on the interior.....so less likely to be seen anyway. The Golf looks less 'tinkered' with although you can see how much effort you've put into that as well. Sorry if this sounds negative, but in all fairness you can't put up the car on the forum and ask for compliments only :) :)
vwdubs 0 Posted November 10, 2004 I am sorry to say this with you having done all of that hard work, but I think the Raddo looks absolutely dire inside and out.. My opinions hopefully not worth a lot as I feel bad saying it. For Effort I Give you 11 out of 10 for end product I would say 1 out of 10. I do however appreciate the Golf and all of the work you have done. The problem for me is not what work you have done on the outside/inside of the Raddo but that I really am a minimist and love it to look good but without changing too much. Neil VR6 0 Posted November 10, 2004 I agree with vwdubs, great workmanship but the car's not my taste, too much stuck on plastic and not enough mods to show off the 'Rado's nice lines that VW designed!

STORM 2 0 Posted November 11, 2004 oooooooo tough crowd! don't get disheartened now   In the end of the day its all about personal taste and if that's the way you like your C and it makes you happy then none of this matters really 8)
munkay 0 Posted November 11, 2004 Yeah you will get a lot of negative comments as it is a bit fast and furious. But keeping that sort of style in mind they look good - obviously a heap of work gone into them both! What sort of power does the corrado put out? Love the colour of them both too. How on earth do you afford them both from 20 to 26 though??? :)
gibber 0 Posted November 11, 2004 I know my corrado isnt the nicest looking around, as lately I went for function over form, and had to sacrifice athstecis to get what I wanted, I see the car now as more of a racer, and I plan to do a lot more mods to help me on the drag strip but try and keep it road legal. Not sure what power the corrado is doing at the moment, when it was last on the rollers it ran 240, but that was a very hot day and the car had shed loads of heat soak, my airflow meter was dieing and my plugs where on their last legs, lots has changed since then, with the addition of the methonal and huge charge cooler, my inlet actual gets condensation on it wen driving it gets that cold! But all this in now up for sale as I dont think I can get much more power of out this supercharger, and the fact that it is a bit hard to drive with all that power thought the front wheels! The colours are great, I love it how they both look black at nite, but get a sunny day and the golf is a lovely blue and the corrado is burgundy! How did I afford them? I lot of saving, working 2 jobs and not having a day off and people say Im not a corrado fan!

mrbeige 0 Posted November 12, 2004 Each to their own, that's what I say....bloody good effort for both cars, you must be a corrado (and golf) fan to spend god knows how much on both cars. Neither of them are to my taste, but that isn't the important thing.... 8) 8)
