Mounting a Sub basket out.

Got a sub on order :D Its just a bit too pretty to hide in a box so i want to mount it basket facing out. Is it simply a case of building a sealed box to match the subs parammetres and mounting the sub basket out or does it require a different type of box design?

same box design but dont take the subs displacement into account :)

and possibly change the phase on the amp - play it by ear (are you only having one sub per enclosure?)

i just built an enclosure in my boot, with a 10" sub facing basket outwards (just wire it as normal)

it sounds dope. no ports, just tight bass. and you know what they say - tight is right

You'll need to reverse the phase or it'll fire into the box and sound plop
