Insurance question

Recommended Posts

Lo all,

Just wondering if theres any insurer that you would recommend for a G60, does anyone specialise in this car??

Best quote so far from Elephant.co.uk

23 year old male. 0 NCB, 5+ years driving, No points, convictions or accidents. G/f on insurance as named driver as its cheaper that way. £749.50 TPFT

i am fully Comprehensive on the G60, i am also 23 and have 2 years NCB and it is costing me £850!!

The rest of the companies were giving me stupid quotes!

I'm 19 and can finally afford to buy a Corrado, but not insure it. Have no ncd, no claims, no convictions, 2.5 yrs named on 2 policies, 30months full license. Anyone know an insurer who will quote on early 1.8. None of RBS co's would quote tried them first as I work at RBS. I can go the named driver route, but I prefer not to. Got £2.5k best so far. Any ideas? I really don't want to get a Saxo or a Corsa

Try elephant, I'm with them and they were by far the cheapest for me and they seem to insure you when other people won't...

They were also pretty good coughing up to repair my C when it had an argument with a tree, so top marks there as well :)

doubtful you'll even get a "luke-warm" saxo or corsa insured for under £2k in you're own name let alone a "performance" car like a Corrado 16v for under £2.5k.......best thing to do is build up your NCD in something a bit more insurance friendly.thengo for the Corrado a year or two down the line.....avoid going the "named-driver"route too.......as it just makes it dearer in the long run
