Neverite 0 Posted November 9, 2004 Ive heard there are different types of leather interiors on the C, and being a complete noob i dont know how to tell if mine is recaro or not(ok ok dont laugh!!!)... anyone know how i can tell?
Phil K 0 Posted November 9, 2004 have a look in the members gallery - you're bound to see a good selection of various inreriors. easiest way to tell Recaro's is that they have the seat lift lever on both sides of the back rest.. Hope that helps a bit
VR6 0 Posted November 9, 2004 The seat tilt lever is on both sides and a lot smaller. It doesn't protrude like the normal lever. The head rest is a lot wider - when it's down, it's just about flush with the seat. Recaro adjustments should also be electric (although I don't think this is always the case). Attached pic is of Recaros. HTH
Neverite 0 Posted November 9, 2004 aaah... so i see. cheers guys, a little upset now, as mine are NOT recaro lol but at least i know. still nice inside though :)
dinkus 10 Posted November 9, 2004 I think the Recaros also have the seat back release levers on both sides not just one? My cloth Recaros make it a bit easier to identify as they've got 'RECARO' embroidered across them

I'll get me coat...
Neverite 0 Posted November 10, 2004 (ok so this is where i seek reassurance about my int) are the recaro's that much nicer than the standard leathers, its all in great conditon but id like to do the C justice over time.. would it be worth changing. or pointlessly costly? The main advantage of the Recaros is that they are electric and heated. As far as comfort goes, people seem to think they're slightly more comfortable on long haul journeys, but it's nothing drastic. Up to you if you want to fork out the extra dosh really though...
