New Panels ?

Recommended Posts

Well my corrado seems to have quite a few faults FSH seems to mean sod all, am not impressed to be honest.

Well i have ended up having to fix up all the problems with it id feel bad punting it on to some other poor sod and it's cost me too much money already.

So Here Goes,

There is a Panel that bolts up inbetween the front crossmeber and the chassis legs, mines really badly rusted, and some of the nuts have becamse so rusty they are nolonger attached to the panel.

so I need a new panel one but im not quite sure on the name of the panel and whether I can actually get one. can anyone help me ?

I think that panel usually goes under the name of 'Valance'. I've seen loads of Corrados with that particular panel rotted through. It's thin steel with little to no rust protection. Mine is caked in Waxoyl now after seeing so many rot. Do you live near the sea? Salty air can eat through them quite quickly.

They're not cheap either and I think they're welded on.
