Front fog lamps

Mine are cracked and want them replaced. Maybe the indicator lens too.

Think they are £70 at the stealers. Anybody know where i can get new ones cheaper???

Try GPC in Luton they are £55 each. I need to do mine too sometime.

I wouldn't bother replacing them. Mine 2 month old one is cracked already :?

The other alternatives are very time consuming:

 

1) pore over the scrapyards trying to find a pair that aren't broken

2) pore over ebay trying to find a pair that aren't £120 each (harder than it sounds)

3) get the glass from the cheaper early lamps, cut the bust glass off your existing surrounds and bond the new glass onto it using silly-cone glue

4) send the whole lot to some geezer in the US, who will fit clear lenses, made from toughened glass, which will not break again

5) replace the bloody stupid things with a black grille, and slip the MOT man a fiver each year.

 

Any other suggestions? ;)

i have 6 of the rallye fog light glasses if anyones interested. £15 each. they arent exactly the same but if you do both then bobs yer uncle :)

 

the old glass isnt too hard to remove either.

and GPC ones are +vat arent they? cos I bought 2 3 months ago and one broke about 2 weeks later :mad:
