imyhamid 0 Posted December 28, 2004 Hi all, just wondered if anybody out there has some advice on tyres. The tyres are for my vr6 which has the standard 5 spoke speedlines. They have currently got Goodyear rubber all round, but just wondered if anybody has any recommendations. cheers for any help.
goodridge 0 Posted December 28, 2004 Put Toyo Proxes T1-R's on my golf about a month ago. Can't praise them hignly enough. Extremely good in both wet and dry. :thumb right:
dinkus 10 Posted December 28, 2004 Proxes are good, but the Bridgestone RE-720's are one of the best all rounders. Oh and I happen to have a set for sale complete with some re-furbed wheels - http://the-corrado.net/.archive/forum/viewtopic.php?t=18474 :D
Kevin Bacon 5 Posted December 29, 2004 I'll second Dinkus' appraisal. Of all the Japanese/Korean compounds out there, Bridgestone are the best by far. I've use the RE720 for years and only the F1 can better it's wet performance, albeit slight....but the Bridgee is far far better in the dry than the F1 and any Toyo.
