Yes!! :)

Think they would look very good.

If you can find a smaller pic, Jim might be able to photo-chop for ya ;)

i think the latter ones suit it better i fancied the league 066 on the corrado's back in the days when i couldnt even dream of buying let alone insuring it!

By the way the first set would make the car look like a fat woman with skinny legs just my opinion though

Hm.. its pretty tough to photochop wheels from a brochure shot like that. Its much easier when someone has a picture of them on a car, and you can transplant em off then :)

If you can find some on a car, I can chop em onto someones C from on here... :)

I've seen the first ones on an MX5 and they looked smart, because its so small i think. Don think they would suit a Corrado. The second ones? Yeah. I think they're better. Like its been said before, its all personal choice though.

Hi,

Am having a bit of difficulty deciding what wheels ti go on my C. I have a short list of 4 type. Can anyone help with doing a mock-up of them on a C?

Cheers

not the first ones. my mate has 18" version on his subaru n they dont look good. spokes too thin.

be careful on cheap alloys. i cracked 2 rims in 18 months using rimstock/team dynamics as they are a weak wheel.

if you think you have a slow puncture thencheck n clean the inside wheel edge. this is where they crack from-inside edge inwards.

What do you think of these wheels on my VR6 then guys? I should have

them on by next month. I've the Porsche wheel adapters already too.

Struan what wheels would you like? I've still got heaps of photos of the G60

so i could try photoshopin on what you like.

They look good IMO but I think there are better! The car looks nice and tidy, have you done a brake conversion, or have you just painted the calipers, its hard to tell from the pic?

He He.... The photo is a bodge job. I stole the wheels from a picture of Jan Nieuwenhuis'

16vG60 Mk1 Golf. You'd have to ask him about the calipers. I will be painting my

calipers tho to red to give them a better appearance. Unless I go the brembo route

next year.

i recon you can find better wheels than the first and second picture, first one will not suit the C at all,its to revealing second is a bit better but there are still much better ones, keep checkin.

The main reason I chose those wheels is because they both come in a chrome finish and they both come in 18" by 7.5 with 4 holes, with those requirements, choice is limited

I have to agree with the other guys too. The spokes maybe alittle thin on the 1st

ones and to get away with it you'd have to have massive brakes too. I do like the

2nd ones tho. I was going to put these on before i chose the Porkers.....

I know they came in 18's and 4 stud cause PVW had them on their Rallye.

Dont know what width they come in tho, off the top of my head. Spokes

go right to the edge of the rim too which make them look even bigger on

a car.

too revealing?? its not like its your naked girlfriend under that rim man!!

do you mean it shows too much of the brake components? i agree.. stock brakes with 17s or 18s look crap. i'm keeping my 15s until i can afford bigger brakes all around, then i'll get 17s. some REVEALING ones!

I like the icons cos of the finish and the fitment, but standard brakes look lost cos the wheel is quite open.

My mate photoshopped these on for me.

Still waiting for them to b fitted and to sort out brake conversion
