Mercedes AMG Aero II Monoblocks.....

Recommended Posts

Was considering new wheels, and wondered what you guys think to these? I think they would look 8)

Could these be fitted to my 2.0l 16v? They are PCD 5 x 112 and ET35 or 37?

You can get adapters made....but hey need to be a minimum of 20mm.

Get the genuine AMG ones, £320 each

My Dad has them fitted to his AMG and the previous owner had to buy a new one.

RH already do them.

The offset would then be 15 though, which will make the car virtually undrivable on rough roads. Not to mention severe arch clearance issues.

What is the standard offset for a 2.0l 16v? ET35?

Could I not just redrill and tap the discs, so I wouldn't need spacers?

You would have to drill and tap the front hubs as well if you were going that way and to be honest i dont think there would be enough room, if there was it would be pretty tricky i rekon

I don't think the hub circumference is big enough to allow 5 x 112. It's close enough with 5 x 100!

There are companies that specialise in custom hubs as they can get OE hub blanks, but the cost would be err, a lot!

You'll have to get fakes, or fit MK5/Passat 3B hubs etc, or live with ET15 and have a stock car look

Or contact RH and see if they do an offset 60 version, then you can use adapters and get the right offset.

I think it might be a little too difficult and expensive to do, although I think they would look the muts nuts on a lowered C 8)

Unfortunately not but they did get the thinner adapters for me though. John will get back to you soon hopefully, he's a helpful chap and knows the products really well.

He did, but they don't do them in a 17"! What would 8x16 look like on a C? Would I be able to go a little lower with 8x16 rather than 8x17?

I've got 7.5x16 on my C and they look great. 8x16 shouldn't be too much of a problem as long as you are sensible with the offsets... 8)

Seen these in four stud on an oak green mk2 golf from what I remember? Or a similar style.

RH Toplines 7.5x17 on the old B Autos car. Pretty rare wheel though.

Can't have been RHs as all the toplines (AA, AB and ZW2) are 8J minimum width.

Is that an RH? First letter in the centre cap looks like a B?

If it is an RH that's defo an old and rare one for sure as their current toplines are different! I like the black paint detailing aswell, v. nice!
