Driver door handle - broken

Mine “Out door handle is broken”. I can’t open the door, but the lock works.

 

I search the “old themes” and understand that the Passat (35i ?) handle can be used. I want to stay with mine (door handle) and only to fix the mechanism? Is this possible? So I need the rear handle from the Passat (left or right?) – can I use the front ones? I have also auto up windows (cables on it)?

daves16v does a repair kit for these, the passat rear handles are de-locked but if you want to keep the locks daves kit is the way to go

So if I use the Passat handles I will not able to lock it? Can I use only the mechanism?

 

I can’t buy it from daves16v because I’m from other country…

the passat handles are from the back doors so have no lock barrels

i have these on my car and use the alarm to lock and unlock the car

im sure dave can still supply the kits whatever country you are in as they are very small
