Riley 0 Posted January 27, 2005 ok guys so ive learnt that the wipers on the raddo's are not the best thing on the car,and that the lupo arms and blades seem to give good results... but the thing is im not keen on the look of them  so is there anyone running a single wiper that works well? dont worry im not into this middle of the screen business, would like one parked low at the drivers side. :-P mainly for a subtle look, but will it do its job? :? thanks, neil. gibber 0 Posted January 27, 2005 I run single wipers on my golf and corrado and they both work fine for me! Im using a fiat punto arm.
Henny 0 Posted January 27, 2005 have a chat with Kevheywire... he's running the standard blades on the Lupo arms which looks stock, but gives the good wipers that using the lupo setup gives... 8)

gibber 0 Posted January 31, 2005 I just make my own single wipers, I get about a 160° wipe. Then I use the Punto arm to sit under the bonnet.

gibber 0 Posted January 31, 2005 Fraid not, if you are going to park it to the side you wont be able to tell, but wen its up the middle you can tell its about 20mm out. the passenger wiper bolts central to the car dosnt it?

Riley 0 Posted February 3, 2005 what kits are you guys using? i tried fitting an xtreme kit off ebay, and well to be honest it was an absolute pile of shit  it was catching everywhere (3 places) and the wiper spindle was bending and twisting. and yep everything was fitted correctly, the instructions advise that bending the linkage may be needed... what a load a bollocks that is! neil. :? Kevin Bacon 5 Posted February 3, 2005 Decent cantilever systems cost around £125 for the Corrado....anything significantly cheaper is going to be poo. Bonrath ones are the best ones I've seen in terms of construction.
Riley 0 Posted February 3, 2005 cheers kevhaywire,do the likes of big boys toys sell the bonrath kit? heard anything bad about the storm kits? cheers, neil. :)
Kevin Bacon 5 Posted February 3, 2005 Not sure to be honest. I can't remember who the main importer of Bonrath is now, I'm sure Awesome used to sell Bonrath stuff? Venom do one though for err, £125! Not sure what brand it is though....
