TomB 0 Posted January 28, 2005 How far gone? Mine's a little knackered at the moment, but fixable. You can usually find replacement engines pretty easily on eBay which you could loot for parts. Not really, there is alot you need to do to convert a 16V to a G60 or VR6, new fuel pump, brakes, ECU etc - you would really need a donor car for parts... mistrall 0 Posted January 29, 2005 a freind has a g60 and hes striping it,,, he has everything that goes under the bonet for sale ie: G60 engine,gearbox,supercharger,ecu,loom,intercooler all pipework,driveshafts ----= cant i just get a mechanic to put it all in ? would that cost more and be more dificult than just putting anouther 2.0ltr engine in? plus what would a bloked cat doo? the engine runs sweet at the moment --- just gets realy hot -- and exaust manifold glows red?
