Rallye Cool Rallye!

Recommended Posts

This Rallye belongs to a friend, and now its just had a 20v turbo fitted from a 225bhp Audi TT. Already featuring a Snappy Gaitors full leather Recaro trim in Terracotta, Genesis ICE and Polished Porsche 928 rims its one cool car. With talks of a bigger IHI turbo this thing class.

I was never a fan of the rallye. but I am now, wheels are everything, to show off those arches. Get it right, and they look mint, get it wrong, and they look a bit pants. unfortunately, 928 alloys are just wrong.

(IMO, as always....I don't speak from another persons opinion....that would just be stupid).

That pic is a good timeline of VW's history actually..... 70s, 80s and 90s.

Not really a fan of Rallye's or Design 90s but that is a very clean example.

I wonder if he get's people saying "Nice bodykit" to him!

Me, I'll go for that Mk1 Rocco anytime. It was stunning! I've seen that one in the flesh at BFV 2004. Good show, crap weather, summed it up, luckily those cars were inside.

Where's the Design 90's then ? Can't see any. If you are talking about the alloys on the Rallye above they are actually polished Porsche 928 alloys.

Hang on, oh my God, I'm turning into....,no it's not possible :D

Cheers,
