Slop in steering

Just a guage needed here, I will take it into the local garage soon! There's a bit of slop in my steering that manifests itself at motorway speeds where seemingly subtle steering inputs need more input resulting in mild swerving! Also, if you boot it at 80mph-90mph the steering sometimes pulls to one side. The rear bushes are new and the fronts are poly items. Also, the tracking is spot on and tyre pressures are correct all round. Also, the tyres are brand new. Could this be bushes, ball joints or the rack? I assume VAg racks are extortionately priced? :(

i get this problem too,,, pulls to one side sometimes - either side.
