Kevin Bacon 5 Posted February 24, 2005 Aye, the CS is quite a machine. Personally I'd opt for the turbo 968...but finding one may prove tricky. The 911 (993) is the porker to have imo... last of the venerable air cooled and the model where Porsche removed all traces of the famed pendulum rump. I do believe a RUF 996 turbo currently holds the Nurburging ring lap record? So anyone that says 911s don't handle are talking through their hoop. willwoll100 0 Posted February 24, 2005 Yeah my brother in law has a 997 Carrera S with track option pack but it just seems to be rather characterless, or maybe it's just me being green!!!

I do believe that the Radical SR3 Turbo has the record and it will soon be destroyed by the Radical SR8
Kevin Bacon 5 Posted February 25, 2005 Ah that rings a bell....I think the Ruf 911 held the record before the Radical knocked came along! Is the Radical that thing that looks like scaffolding on wheels?
